It basically has everything Rolls-Royce, Range Rover Mercedes GLS Maybach have and more. It is the only SUV that can really come close to driving itself.
Where is the link to the Super Cruise? I don’t see it in the description. The Escalade though is really nice, I just wish it came with a few more features for the 2nd row like ventilated seats, separate climate zones, and sunshades.
@@2004cyrus Except for vehicles like the Rolls Royce Cullinan, there are zero trucks in the segment that include “every available luxury” feature, and some competitors are even more expensive than the Cadillac Escalade.
Overall, the Escalade has great exterior style(though I prefer the Yukon Denali of GMs triplets). The interior is good too, but for me personally, it is behind the Navigator and certainly the Grand Wagoneer. Cadillac is still offering glossy wood with no matte finish, seemingly taking away from the overall modern feel of the interior. I could argue other luxuries missing from it for the price(especially considering these are going well over MSRP right now), but overall, it delivers. These are selling for about $135K in my neck of the woods. Sheesh! Keep those reviews BOUGIE, Mason! Drew even let you drive this time!🤣😎
@@LilRick96 love the front end styling of the Denali. There is still something weird about the small lights and big grille of the Escalade that is awkward to me. The Denali just has the right mix of everything. Not overdone, but worth the small price bump over a Tahoe High Country.
@@hellkitty1014 Yeah the Denali looks the most imposing of the Trio. I actually like the look of the previous Escalade more. This generation Escalade looks fat and chunky to me. And like you said, it's missing some luxury touches that less expensive 3 row SUVs offer
Cadillac is still offering glossy wood with no matte finish? You say that as if it was some sort of mistake. The Escalade with its glossy wood outsells every competitor with a matte wood finish so apparently people love it. It is far more intricate than some of the matte finished Wood’s found in competitors. There’s nothing wrong with glossy wood, and Cadillac is actually one of the only to offer it - not following a trend because they are Cadillac and don’t have to. To say the Escalade doesn’t look “modern” and then you’re praising a Jeep that actually looks like a Wagon from the exterior is laughable. Cadillac is laughing all the way to the bank.
@@mybro727 oh not this guy again. Gloss wood is 1980s and that make some since given some of the switchgear inside of this Escalade, some of which is found in a Malibu. And the Wagoneer makes no apologies against the Escalade. It actually delivers the luxury requisite with its price. The Escalade treats rear occupants like paupers compared to the GW and even the older Navigator.
They did a good job with this new generation. Only thing I don’t like is that it now shares the same side orange lights with the Yukon and Tahoe where the 2020 and older generations always had their own unique lights. Thought GM wanted to differentiate it more and more with every new generation. Put the Tahoe and Escalade side by side and their profiles look identical especially the front end with having very similar shaped headlights.
@@hellkitty1014 Haha it was one of the first things I noticed. Was probably because I own a 2019 Escalade and also had a 2010 so I know everything about these SUVS.
@@badernasser6653 Understandable but when you’re paying over $15k over the Yukon and Tahoe you want it to be more set apart from the others. Just found it strange how they decided to share the same lights with this new generation where the older generations had their own lights. Doesn’t make sense 🤷♂️
@@Nathan-fm1mu bruh my friends lambo urus shares a lot from vw and Audi and it’s more noticeable then this orange light and the price is not just 15k difference 😁
Cadillac is raking it in and deservedly so. That said, the competition is stiff in this segment and the Cadillac could use some upgrades for 2023. Grand Wagoneer has a better interior now a 400hp and 500hp turbo I6 coming up.
Indeed. In terms of opulent luxury, refinement, rear seat accommodations, power, 4WD systems, and towing abilities...thr GW has it. Now they're about to go crazy with even more power(my sources say the 3.0TT will be closer to 550HP, which makes since with 26 pounds of boost the turbos make and why they went with a twin setup).
The Wagoneer has nothing on the Escalade’s front row. It is a distant fourth to the Mercedes-Benz GLS, and BMW X7 interiors. It does offer arguably the best third row in the segment but that’s about it. It lacks the caliber of technology, attention to detail, and opulence of the Cadillac.
@@mybro727 I seriously doubt that, GM is known for not sweating the details and just lately looking the part. That's laughable about the GLS and X7 interiors, they are nothing special anymore at this point, run of the mill actually.
As reliable? Multiple issues with the valves in the engine on the Cadillac. Water leaking thru the roofs, and parts falling off. All that takes is just one search to find. Not even close to the Lexus reliability. I just rolled 211,000 miles on my 2005 lx470. Crazy reliable

No joke! You’d think for $115,000 Cadillac would include every available luxury.
@@2004cyrus Except for vehicles like the Rolls Royce Cullinan, there are zero trucks in the segment that include “every available luxury” feature, and some competitors are even more expensive than the Cadillac Escalade.
Portland, JAMAICA in The Building !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Drew even let you drive this time!🤣😎
Definitely taking the Denali as well. Shes the best of both worlds in luxury and style
What are the major differences between sport and sport platinum?
Escalade-V just arrived.
I’d love to see a head to head Hyundai palisade calligraphy
I have a 2004 Escalade with the 6 liter V8. Barely have to tough the gas and off you go.
The front lost its Cadillacness signature vertical headlight. Went back to traditional locking headlight like many vehicles has.
I want the galactic gray lmao!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ya know, I never paid attention to that, now I can't unsee it.🤣
It’s just a stupid orange light it doesn’t matter if its from chevy or caddy it’s just a orange light 🙃
@mybro727 I definitely agree with you on this. And imo the GW's exterior is a major fail for me.
Jeep came into the spotlight just like Lincoln did few years ago , but that was all.
Overdone interior and outdated exterior.
Best Cadillac Escalade review I ever saw so far. Great Job!, BTW, what is the name of the color?
Thanks! It's called Galactic Gray
@@CarConfections I ordered 22 Premium Luxury Platinum in same color 2 months ago. Have to wait at least another 4 months. Thats sucks.. LOL 🙂
I ordered mine for about 7 month but never came out ....so I canceled and get back the money ....
The KING of SUV'S wow
Super cruise FTW!
Escalades are the Rolls Royce of SUVs.
Perhaps the cullinan is the rolls Royce of suvs
Insane!!
Ehh, Idk. I still like the Navigator design language better but I would probably ultimately end up buying the new Range Rover
Imagine the cost of filling this up , you looking at close to $200 every time. For that much you can get a nice Tesla or Rivian 7 seater
That’s why they make this car for people with money lol
If you’re buying a 150k vehicle and worried about the price of gas to drive it, you probably shouldn’t be buying the 150k vehicle.
“Some towing stuff” … nice
Great investment in 10 years it's going to be worth 10k
Hats off to Cadillac for this masterpiece!!!
I ordered one but it will take over 6 months to arrive! cant wait though
Why is the color of the glass on the driver's side different?
I love this SUV!
V Version 2023?
No other brand can compete with the Cadillac grille.
14:45 Nothing like listening through a sound system over TH-cam on my sound system.
The 2004 escalade platinum came with ventilated 2nd row seats, but this 2022 doesn’t.…what…🤨
Beautiful
As reliable? Multiple issues with the valves in the engine on the Cadillac. Water leaking thru the roofs, and parts falling off. All that takes is just one search to find. Not even close to the Lexus reliability. I just rolled 211,000 miles on my 2005 lx470. Crazy reliable
Yukon for me. Just my opinion!
How much it will be in 10 years from now?
I like the chicken wire grille :)
I would say the private jets on wheels are, Mercedes Maybach GLS. Or Mercedes Maybach s class.
Agreed, although this car definitely is up there
No
Man, the external designs of all these cars are getting plainer and plainer. Minimal distinction between brands.
