if i understand your question correctly then urobending is just something you do after the hug, the first bound is just knowing the distance and the second bound is just timing the button press correctly 👍
insta flicks are unfortunately mostly figuring out the sensitivity that works for you, but also just testing in a custom game with different tiles to get a feel for how sharp to flick to hit certain angles 👍
So with insta hugs it’s about your positioning with your first bounds distance and where you land and you must time your second bound like you would with a normal hug tech?
i can do it on my right side insta hug tech mostly but i’m still not used to the left side insta hug angle if you know what i mean any tips how to get used to the left side ?
Hi Genoxy, The problem im having is when i click the second dash it doesnt hug me, it only slides me off the wall like skinny albert, ive mastered hug tecs but i js cant get insta hug techs down
@@Sunnyisgoodssh if you’re sliding off the wall then you are either accidentally wall sliding or you are too close to the wall. try stepping back a bit or put on walkie, even if it doesn’t insta that doesn’t mean you’re in the wrong spot 👍
I can't pull this off. I'm either flying past the structure i want to hug, or can't do the second bound at all. Is it really that difficult or I'm just doing something wrong?
@@zackthez5832 it really is that hard, it took me 8 hours in a custom before i hit my first one. it sounds like you should try taking a step back, then if you start bounding before you hit the wall then you backed up too much, rinse and repeat.
@@Ksetinho that’s the frame limiter i talk about in the video, it is very much morally questionable and could possibly get you banned so if you are interested then just search up frame limiters 👍
@@kurokenichi829 if you’re on pc then i just use my nvidia control panel to hard limit my frame rate to 72, if you don’t wanna do that or if you’re on console then using either 60 or 90 will work just fine
@@kurokenichi829 72 is kind of the perfect blend of being relatively easy to hug while also getting good distance, but for insta hugs specifically 60 would be easier
wesker hug tech is a completely separate technical mechanic, and would require a complete power rework to fix which the devs aren’t gonna do, it’s safe to learn 👍
@@saikyue4462 besides the fact that it’s cool for clips, it’s mostly used when a survivor is sitting at a loop and you’re coming into the loop before they start making their rotations 👍

do you still move after the bound (a/d depending on your direction) or do you just insta 2nd bound and have the original momentum move you?
@@itseli_live the 2nd, the momentum from your first bound will push you for the hug, you actually don’t need to use your movement keys whatsoever
Why swallow distance?
Do you do the normal hugtech by muscle memory or with the hitting the object technique

funnily enough i’m the same way so i get it, i would say just really focusing on practicing the side you’re weaker on in custom games will help

No
no, regular hug techs become more difficult the lower your frames go, instas are the opposite
can console do this tech? i mean i think xbox series x is at 60fps
@@Kessora any platform can do this tech, consoles like the xbox series x will actually have an easier time due to the lower fps 👍

this works on console and pc, old gen consoles will actually have an easier time because of their low fps
