- This time a deep atmospheric and minimal techno track. Not the best in terms of volume balances, but I decided to keep it anyway.
In my cave I record jams with friends or solo. It is a constant journey of fining new sounds, finding my own sound and of course having a lot of fun! These cave sessions are so good!! I’m just found you today from your self doubt bass station video, and man am I glad that you stuck with it and proved to yourself you can make excellent videos! Thanks a ton!! Glad you enjoyed it. I was a bit of a different man at the the time I made that video. Still a part of me though… I was convinced I needed to try these kind of talking videos, I didn’t like making them however. When I started recording jams, I just wanted a back catalog of the things I created. What I do like is combining video and music as an expression of how I like to experience music.

@ well said. Some folks thrive at those talking style videos, others just showcasing a fun jam! I’ve been getting into dawless electronic music this year and have felt the same desire to have a catalog of jams and creations. Mostly for myself and my friends/family, but also to give back to the TH-cam synth community that I spend a lot of time watching, hah! I definitely want to capture more jams myself, so hopefully you’ll see some more videos from me in 2025 =)

May I ask how you do the kick rumble? Is it sample-based from the Digitakt or synthesized from one of the other sources?
Thx! I believe this was a low pitched tom on the Rytm. Sometimes I use some separate rumble sample on the tom track, repitch a little, overdrive a bit, some detail like a higher pitched tom on top. Really love the versatility of the Rytm!
