For me the hippest drum licks on earth created by the master Steve Gadd. I really did a deep research in this matter. And found out this 3 licks based on rudimental drumming of course.
You can hear this licks in Chuck "E" is in Love - Ricky Lee Jones and Roof Garden - Al Jarreau, among others.
And also the amazing lick during his Zildjian Day 1984 performance.
Some people call this licks the "Flutterlick". Hope I can explain it to you, and you will be able to master this beauty's!
