    I’m currently 41+3 and I’ve been getting so anxious for labor to start. I woke up with what I think are contractions and was getting slightly too excited & amped up. Not only is this advice super helpful, but it’s delivered perfectly to help me feel more calm, relaxed, and prepared to enjoy this time. Thank you!!

      @BaileyGaddisDoula  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Amber Wow! How intense. That must have been exhausting. Hopefully you were able to get some sleep during that time (which I know can be tricky.) Labor can be such and unpredictable journey. How long were you in early labor with your second?

      Bailey Gaddis So I was induced with my first, and went into labor on my own with my second. The second was the one who came in three hours and no pushing (baby just popped out haha) but the early labor was just terrible. I walked 26 miles that week just to progress. Made it to 4cm dialated on my due date and then my water broke when I was getting checked at the hospital haha 😋

      My daughter, Amber, is 39 weeks. I am Curious how it can be that my daughter has had every single symptom of labor, except loosing her water. So far, for a full week, she has lost mucus plug, had bloody show every day for a week, vomiting, diarrhea, contractions every 3-4 minutes, low back cramping, baby dropped, lost 5 lbs in a week, vaginal discharge (stringy more mucus plug) I need advice. She has stayed at 1 1/2 cm dilated for two weeks. Her contractions are strong and stops her from being able to talk or walk. Baths don’t take the pain away. What can we do? Can someone be in true early labor for two weeks? Because that’s how long it’s been. 😫When will she have her baby?

    I have a question: I had around 10 regular but very light period like cramps a few days ago and they were 9-13minutes apart we thought we were in labour but then it just stopped. Now three days later I'm feeling nothing but just really tired and achey? I'm 35 weeks pregnant and have been diagnosed withild cholestasis. What was that? Cassidy Love I’m so sorry to hear your labor is taking awhile to begin :-/ That can be so frustrating. How far along are you? I have a video on here about natural ways to induce that might be helpful. And, if your care provider gives you the go ahead, a session with an acupuncturist could put you into labor. Today is Monday and as of Friday I've been having menstrual like cramps in my very lower back and abdomen but mostly in my back. As of 6 days ago I was dilated to 3 1/2 and 70% effaced. The Braxton Hicks have gotten stronger this week but they are not consistent. How many days could I be experiencing this? This is my fifth pregnancy and did not have these symptoms with the others.

      @BaileyGaddisDoula  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I’ve had clients who have had similar symptoms, and been in early labor, for up to a week. It’s my 5th baby but they’re all different so I’m confused all over again 😂

    • @BaileyGaddisDoula
      @BaileyGaddisDoula  ปีที่แล้ว

      The sharp pain is likely caused by pressure on nerves, but I would let your care provider know if they feel concerning :) the period like cramps can certainly be signs of early labor. It sounds like you’re getting close! Congratulations!
