depends on your preference and what all your doing with it and what the specs on your laptop are. Personally I prefer desktops so it would not work for ME. If your laptop is powerful enough to do what you need and your comfortable using it, then it would be good enough for YOU. It's all about personal preference and what you need the system to do.

Hey, from one female gamer to another No zip ties. Really. Use Velcro strips. Easy for management. No scissors and no zip tie cutting later. Just wrap. I have all my computer racks and network racks set up that way. I work in IT system engineering and do the same in the server rooms with items I will be swapping. I even use them on large cat cable runs even in ceilings. Makes life so much easier. (I am 61 and this is just long life learning).

Very nicely done! I hate doing cable management so I applaud you for having the patience to stick with it. And I completely understand, the first time I did any actual cable management, I went all out and tied everything up with zip ties and it looked awesome, but then like 2 weeks later I decided I wanted to move my setup around so had to redo everything. Then not long after that I got a new monitor so had to add that in as well. I did eventually get a couple cable sleeves on Amazon that definitely makes it a lot easier to add or remove cables, but it’s still kind of a pain.

I just thought it might be fun next step to set up her own server to add to the setup. Since she is a programmer and computer science person and you tuber it would be an interesting addition and give her more capabilities such as setting up a render engine and a Network storage solution to archive videos, that we can enjoy watching her build. It would give an opportunity for a new series of tech videos.

Everything looks very nice. You did a very good job.
so you know, I found a hack to get better air flow on your case. Im planning on gettin the same one and almost everyone complains about the poor air flow in it. Did some searching and found some good info. On the front panel, take off the connectors, add a few small washers where the screws go. It will push the front panel out a little to give it more air flow. And remove the back panel on the upper case panel so the exhaust fans can exit the system better. which meens a cooler PC, and your PC wont run as hard.
Damn I wish my setup was half as good as yours. Make more videos like these, their really cool!

Nice work, though if you're one who doesn't like permanently attach things and prefere to move things around or swap out constantly, you should try using velcro straps instead, makes life alot easier.
