In 33:20, I made a mistake by explaining that we are using the MIPS (assembly language) to access a particular location in the memory unit.
Correction: a0, a1 and t0 are NOT a location of the memory unit, but the name for a particular register. In other words, the MIPS programming language allows us to manipulate what is inside a register.
