@@adamzeller7979 Lol 👍 IKR? BUT? THAT frog 🐸 intro ISN'T frogs/gators in the Floridian swamp, believe it or not 🤔 It is ACTUALLY some more "studio trickery sounds" that Trey Azagtoth and the studio producer used/did "in the studio" to do that. Sorry, I am obviously NOT a studio savvy guy OR I might be able to describe in depth on what they actually DID there but,yeah... I actually, JUST read about /found this out THIS year somewhere online etc....Them Morbid dudes are just on another whole different level, Lol. Just wish Trey could do something MORE along, "the whole 90s Morbid sound" again, (for me personally). WTF , even though it has couple good tracks, and that last one? It's the soundtrack to my sleep disorder 🥱😴 SMH 😕...
Love the Gateways love, which is my favorite MA album with "Summoning Redemption" as my favorite track. Little interesting info about the intro track, and "Summoning Redemption" is that the noise played in the intro, and throughout Summoning is an analog recording of a frog that was in Trey Azagthoths back yard. Keith Merrow confirmed this on a YT video he did.
This rules. I went a long time never listening to Domination because people don't give it it's due but nowadays it's my favorite Morbid Angel record. Wanted to see Dawn of the Angry's opening riff because it's one of the catchiest death metal riffs ever.
Summoning Redemption is my favourite MA song, glad to see some Gateways love! Formulas is a fantastic and underrated record as well. Would love to see you guys do some 4 levels of Opeth; I bet Mikael or Fredrik would be up for it!
You guys should totally learn "Beneath the Hollow"! That one's way sick and has a cool little dual-guitar thing going on 😈 It's from their Heretic album!
There’s honestly too many riffs that could be included for Morbid… love the inclusion of some Gateways however! Wish we could’ve seen some FFTTF, some riffs on that album are absolutely fucking chaotic and very hard to get right! Awesome stuff as always guys
It would be awesome to have a Part 2 episode when you teach Dean the more complex riffs, like something out of Altars of Madness, or some riffs from Fall From Grace or Rapture
@@armandoarrojo9841 I go back and forth between Gateways and Altars. Covenant is definitely the 3rd top pick for me. MA had quite the legendary run back in the day.

Yeah, i repeat again...I don't know what the hell happened to these new death metal musicians... because you have many bands, like suffocation, sinister, gorefest, pestilence, autopsy, macabre, pungent stench, carcass, centurian, severe torture, deeds of flesh, disgorge (us), krisiun, cryptopsy, incantation, mortician ... and the list goes on and goes on..

@@TH-cam_gets_dumber_each_year You're right, I missed that point, because I read a comment of yours talking about the songwriting and structure... it's totally deathcore. Gateways is my favorite MA album, too. And Trey's riffs just don't make sense. However, I think that Erik Rutan made this album shine with his contributions. Pete's kicks in the opening of the gates are stupid fast.
Formula’s Fatal to the Flesh is there most technical album and my favorite. Pete also really went off on that album. 2nd favorite is Covenant. All there albums are very good though.
The way Dean explains liking more produced metal makes so much sense. It makes me think back on the 27 years I've been into metal and understand how I got to listening to certain bands over others. Thanks to you, porcelain guitarists!
