1996 Vintage Vactory Unboxing: Stretch Armstrong Enemies & Vac-Man Minions!

- 1996 Vintage Vactory Unboxing. At the tail end of Stretch Armstrong's career in the '90s, Cap Toys had a last bash at revamping the line by releasing the Vac-Pac and the Vactory. Curiously, these were completely separate from Stretch Armstrong and actually designed as enemies for Vac-man, who was in turn the enemy of the original Stretch Armstrong. Confusing huh?!
Anyway, I found this complete vintage, boxed Vactory some time ago and decided to build it up and see what it's about. Turns out it's pretty awesome, although not quite as awesome as the packaging or commercial suggests!

Man, I had this as a kid and LOVED it. Could never get more of the bodies and heads to make more, but always wanted to get a new version of this if the ever made it!
They should have sold more bodies separately. It would be a great toy to reboot.
Wow, thank you for making this! I was obsessed with this toy when I was a kid and thought it was a generic Stretch Armstrong maker, didn’t realize it was part of the same universe. I could never decide which vac warrior was my favorite. I think I settled on the green one haha.

Thank you so much for posting this, I got this as a kid from KB toys and couldn't remember what it was actually called! I just remembered that it was a "stretch armstrong" filled with sawdust.

I needed to get vacman and the stretch and fetch toys again. Loved them back in the day especially vacman. Never seen that vactory before. Great vid.

I saw someone actually do that with a pressure chamber and Vacman; it goes rock hard and pretty much the arms snap when you move it; although it didn't damage the toy at all. If you overflow it apparently it lasts pretty well.
A sign of a good quality toy, one that even extremes don't damage it.
Haha! Good to know! I think I'll keep my vacuuming light. I'm sure 20+ year old rubber gets a bit fragile after a while!

Which stretch armstrong toys do you have
At the moment I have a 1990s Stretch, Fetch and Vacman + a couple of Vacpac guys and a couple of NFL mini Stretches. I also have a 1970s Stretch Octopus. I used to have a 1970s Stretch X-ray but I sold it on. How about you?

Those are Madballs. The originals were from the 80s but those ones are reissues by kidrobot.

Not sure if they even sold it in the UK originally. It's pretty elusive. The internet doesn't tell you a lot about it either. eBay will come good eventually 🤞
