Hi, at (12:22) I think it is not necessary that all the temperatures be in time n+1; I think temperatures at times n or n-1 can be included as well but, at least temperature at n+1 must exist once. It means that the parameter is represented based on itself so it would be implicit. Regards.
The stability can be maintained over larger values of delta_t and thus fewer time steps are needed. This may make it more feasible than explicit approach if the delta_t for the eplicit approach is small and the time interval is large.
