Sokolov's pianism and art are perfect for this masterpiece. His performance is so rich, deep and intense. GS in my opinion reached the level of the best pianists of 20th Century (Horowitz, Richter, ABM, Gilels...).
I haven't never heard of such a passionate performance of this work - bravo!!
