Regarding the vocals, many people complain about: It is not one of those 1000 bands just performing songs in karaoke mode abusing the original but it is he himself who is performing so we can assume Nick having had that in mind and doing this my intention so it is just a new arrangement. Why shouldnt artist remix their one tracks and show new ideas when performing live? To me it is ok. For those who like the old "trancy" version, there are a lof of copies out.
Her vocals aren't close to as good as the original, agreed, but this is a great, great remix of Offshore - it really adds something that the 1990s versions didn't have. Though it's such a great piece of music that every mix of it sounds good.
OK, she's stretching her voice way too thin, certainly not controlling the vocal that well, but what could be better than a beautiful woman strutting around a stage in knee-high boots and a mini-dress?
