The label decides on who's gon be in that limelight, how long they gon be in that limelight and when they gon get phased out of that limelight. It's gon be the best selling LP on Earth. That's just the way it work. We (the fans) decide on what we gravitate towards AFTER the label done already set it up for us. There's a science behind music distribution that just goes right over folks' head. Arrested Development was on fire during they debut LP. They sophomore LP comes out two years later and don't nobody know that it exists. There's a reason to that. Things moved slower during the '90s as far as music consumption's concerned and fans were fed and full for two years until the next LP. How do you go from on top of the world to washed in two years?
