Miss Emilie I wanted to reach out and let you know that that about 9 years ago I used to make all your video fairy dolls when I was younger and I happen to find them all in a box and they brought me so much joy especially since I loved creating and making different ones and you truly inspired me , and this was differently one of my favorite hobbies I ever had growing up 🥹🥰!!
Beautiful, thanks for the tutorial. I used your base for a fairy doll to make an angel for atop my tree but I encorporated fairy lights wrapping the wire of the fairy lights in with the arms for a bulb to stick out by each hand so like she’s holding candles. I also used lace and crinoline to create a long skirt instead of the flowers and incorporated the rest of the string of lights into it.
Thank you so much. My son (14) wanted a gift for his girlfriend and these at the shop were $8.50 each. They will be perfect to hang from the gift to make it extra special. 🥰

I love making these! I've started making wings for my fairies now out of flower petals. : ) I just finished a fall fairy, and I've been experimenting with doing different hairstyles.
WOW, perfect! I need to make 12 of these for my fellow ballerinas in the Nutcracker Ballet...... it takes a loonnnggg time to make each one, but the end result is gorgeous! I'm thinking of making the hair and the tutu individual for each girl :-)

That's really pretty. I just made one, but I made a cone shape for dress. I needed a tree topper for a small Christmas tree. I will try yours. I really like that.
My sister collects angels so I guess I'm gonna have to make one for her collection! She's rockin' the bright teal and fuschia hair these days so that will be a fun shop for the embroidery floss! My sister is also a dog collector. I'll ponder how to fashion the suggestion of a Skye Terrier, Beagle-mutt, Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Rottie/Lab with Rottie colouring, and last, but not least, a yellow Lab. I have some beads that will work perfectly for a lab head but the others are going to take some thought. Time to dig through the ephemera bin. The angel collection lives in my sister's meditation room so I think mine will have to be seated cross legged exuding the Zen. This is going to be fun. I do have a Tattered Flowers die for my die cutting machine and a stash of sparkly fabric so I'm guessing I'll be making my own flower-dresses. I have never been interested in dolls of any sort in my 50+ years, but it's looking like this summer is going to be very dolly~ish in the craft room. These just look like so much fun and what a great, original concept!

I would like to see more hat or hair beads ideas. Can you use the tiny rubber bands to make pony tails kinda like a western fairy or country fairy. Besides halo hsve you made a princess crown
+caroline gee Great question! I have had a lot of people ask why I don't add faces to them. I don't put a face on my fairy dolls because I haven't found a way to do the face that I like better than just leaving them plain. It leaves more to the imagination. With that said, you are welcome to put a face on the doll. I have seen some done with sharpie pens and acrylic paint. It is totally up to you! Happy crafting! xo
