it's just the eiffel tower behind it... I understand why you say it's beautiful but it's not a "set".. just look at the Saint Laurent stages when Hedi was in charge...THAT were sets

Can’t describe how amazing was this collection! OMG! Vacarello works perfectly in Saint Laurent, this was a masterpiece, every look it’s just perfection, the music And the location was BEYOND! Bravo YSL!

The Chopin prelude that ends just before around 7:40isn't written that way, so they had someone record a revised version - I think a lot of work went into the music.

lil angel i live in Paris so as every other fashion aficiónate I go to the shows just to stand outside and see the people who goes there, which is very inspiring... when we got to this one it was in an open space in Trocadéro, anybody could see it. It was crazy beautiful , the show started just at night fall when the tower turned on, and for the encore, the tower started sparkling, as it only does every hour... crazy beautiful.

I feel like I was watching a movie. I would have killed just to be in the audience let alone walking in the show. Just MAGICAL! I'm actually surprised that they were able to do something like this with all the hate and terror going on in the world, but I'm glad they did because if you let fear run your life you're no longer living.

This might be one of my favorite shows of 2017. Equally beautiful if you compare it to Fendi's trevi fountain in 2016. Anthony is finally becoming YSL. His strongest collection as of date. How underrated is Binx? She walk so effortlessly def Queen of the runway.

Ahhh the musical atmosphere is really captivating. Fierce cast. Yes, I agree the models here are young, but also bring that SOMETHING to the show.! Their bodies are also a sort of work of art, but in a way that captures the model's body type with the clothing itself. Art.....art....art!
the menswear just blew me away!!!! can think of a few names that would look amazing wearing one of those looks

You definitely don't know what you are saying lol What Hedi did with YSL was beyond remarkable, least to say that he doubled the brand's revenues, reemerging it like never before! He did so many iconic things to the brand such as closing a gap between clothes and gender lines, and let's not even talk about the Menswear mannnn. I think I can't even find the right words to describe slimane's direction; from casting, reinvention, shows, ads, and much more, it was one of the best years for fashion! Overall, don't get me wrong; Vaccarello is doing amazing in so many ways and I would say it is one of my favorite creative directions at the moment in the industry, but to say "slimane is gone" wether you don't know shit about what you are talking about or you are just out of your mind lol

The boys definitely remind me of Hedi's work for Dior Homme. And I'm liking the ethnic and berber influences so beloved of Yves in the womenswear.
