What does communion even mean anymore when almost all the Novus Ordo clergy are heretical? What did communion mean for the laity during the Arian crisis? The Great Western Schism?

And we are required to obey the men who occupy those positions of authority regardless of their personal failings, their toleration of heresy, their personal attachment to heretical doctrines etc. in all things but sin. And we had better make 100% sure that it is sin they are commanding before we refuse to obey them and not just something we don't like. Otherwise we are just Protestants

Pope Leo X, in excommunicating Luther in 1520, protected the faith, while Francis destroys it - so what is your point?
