Great video as always, - keep them coming. - Just out of interest when is 'the planting season', - as they always seem to have 'cut' fields not being prepared for planting.
Planting takes place usually between mid-late August to mid- late September depending on the weather. Many farms finished early this year as we have been in a severe drought and there was no stoppage due to rain.
@@AerialAg - So what happens to the fields that they are harvesting now.? - Surely they don't leave them until next year to plant, otherwise it looks as if you have half, - (presumably), - laying idle each year. Or are the farms so big they can afford to do that, or do they plant some sort of quick growing 'cover crop'.

Good afternoon, just one question what is the purpose of that rubber band at the end of the elevator before the flap?
Not exactly sure about the band you are referencing, there that hanging rubber piece thats there to make sure the cane goes in the wagon.. is that it?
This is awesome!
What is the most common row spacing for sugar cane?
From what I understand the most common in the world is 5 foot rows, but in Louisiana we mostly use 6 foot rows
Awesome video as always. What are the spacing on the double row that some farmers are planting now? Maybe 8' spacing?
The cane they chop up is it used to replant the next crop ?
During planting season yes, this cane was being sent to the mill for harvest
Top a melhor cultura do mundo e a cana de açúcar ❤ eu trabalho com esse máquina aí ele é muito top ch570 chama ❤
