Nega Jay is not impressed by the news of a new Masters of the universe Movie in the works for 2026. With Multiple Cancellations of MOTU Movie projects 2023 with Kyle Allen, and Noah Centineo in 2021 the project has been derailed multiple times and Jay wonders if this new announcement is just another promise waiting to be broken.

The biggest problems with the MOTU movie was the time traveling BS. And none of the characters looked right. Teela & Man-At-Arms looked like bums or hobos. They could have made Skeletor's face an actual skull instead of slopping a bunch of mayonnaise on him. They could have made Beast-Man look more like Beast-Man. They could have easily made Evil-Lyn's outfit look exactly like the toy/cartoon. The Earth parts in the city looked more like a TMNT movie. I hated that movie when I was a kid & I can't even watch it now. That movie helped kill MOTU.
Everything started dying in '87. By '90 the 80s were truly over. Even the awesome 80s rock music died suddenly & that Nirvana grunge garbage took over. The 90s were painful to get through. I hate the 90s with a passion. But now it's all back. The rock & metal music is better than ever. But you have to search for it.
