Joyce Bulifant becomes the 29th MG celebrity to score a head-to-head match. This was her first attempt. (As per MatchGameProductions, these episodes "are nowhere to be found and also aren't in the Goodson/Todman Library. Sadly, looks like they are lost forever!")
I am so impressed that Judy picked Joyce for the SuperMatch head to head. It just goes to show you there are contestants who go on their gut feeling when choosing, not simply following the crowds. I always enjoy Joyce’s personality and am pleased as punch that she earned the money
I always appreciate when contestants choose other than Richard for the head-to-head match. Hard to believe Joyce has never been selected before since she's appeared so many weeks! Glad it worked out for the contestant!
Gene: Fanny Hill! Richard: She's worth every penny of it! He used this line several times but this time it was so spot on! I'm not sure th audience caught it. It deserved a bigger laugh.
@@thomaswashburn3513 I went BACK to the Wikipedia page for Fanny Hill earlier … there used to be a … picture of very direct reference of “a fanny hill” … but no longer 😅

I love the beard! 😍 Richard Dawson 💞
It's Marcia, Marcia, Marcia vs. Judy, Judy, Judy ✌
Greg Morris had a great voice. He could have played a character in DC comics animated series
He sure did.
OMG she picked Joyce, and it worked
G Man It happens every now and then! Very rare, though!
Wow shes 82, was married 5 times!
And Joyce looks so genuinely thrilled!
They look like they could be cousins.

Marsha was quite the lovely lady.
I've been under the sea so long, I'm beginning to get barnacles.
This episode is like taking a bunch of kids on vacation
Is it that stressful?
Just out of curiosity, I Googled how much 5000 dollars would be worth today. It comes out to be a little over 22,000 in today's money.
Jungle Drums , the match game played today they can win 25k .

I wondered about this. Thanks for doing a sloths homework. I remind myself that back then $5000 could get you a new car. Now it's the down payment.
I just take the sum and multiply by 5 to get a good approximation, the math is easier.

Fanny Brice > Fanny Farmer > Fannie Flagg
As a good ol' Arkansas boy, I remember well the Fanne Fox/Wilbur Mills affair, back in the day.
❤❤❤
Brett looks rather lovely
Now I know they've done this Super Match before..
How?
Judy was lovely
they should have disqualified the scuba dive question because Brett was singing a song about dance and formal dance was matched.
They gave away clues several times by talking during the writing of answers. Gene as well.
Who is this "Sam" dork? Earl wouldn't have been that late!
I think Sam _Gary_ , who was one of many associate directors at that time at _Television City_ in Hollywood.
RD, I didn't see it.. ;0)

Joyce Bulifant was so cute.
I’m curious as to why she didn’t pick Fannie first.

Brett Upthere singing do you wanna dance is a pretty big clue As to where he wore his slippers
Once again, Eskimos are North Pole, penguins are South Pole
XMLarry --- evidently that wasn't known back in the 70's cause there are many episodes with Penguins being the answer for the North Pole questions

Well Gene got what he asked for
Leave him alone! Got to have the last word all the time..
Surprised Fannie didn't point out her name isn't spelled Fanny
It doesn’t matter it was an audience survey and they didn’t throw out anything incorrect they just went with the majority
Hehe I guess Fannie Flagg and a fanny flag are two different things entirely.

What about fanny pack? Didn't they have them then?

I don't like Gary AT ALL.
