It's amazing how different paint colors can look at different times of the day. This ultra red looks burgundy with that lighting. The stealth gray can actually look black at certain times of the day. My 2023 M3 in multicoat red can actually look like ultra red at night under the parking lot lights at my workplace.

The red on the Tesla’s are amazing. I always stayed away from red, especially living in AZ, but I think I might get the red if I ever get another one. Looks amazing. Great choice
for the volume it could be even more louder and more bass on the screen where you see the volume click one of those arrow keys then click the 3 lines then raise all the 3 lines to the top to 8.0 db

Fantastic colour. I ordered the same colour and interior colour. Wasn’t sure if to get the white interior but chose the black as compliments the red. I got the standard range though. I pick up on Saturday.

Regarding your question on changes and model years:
Tesla doesn't really do annual changes to their models, they just add whatever changes throughout the year and don't say anything about it so it's mostly the Tesla experts that notice (average customers don't know/care). It also depends on which factory you get the vehicle from (back in 2023 for US, there were minor differences between Fremont and Austin builds until eventually Tesla got most/all the Fremont changes into Austin builds). Current MY builds made in China actually have WAY better build quality and some features the rest of the world doesn't get (i.e. minor ambient lighting strip across dash)
That retractable cover in the trunk was available to Fremont MY vehicles in early 2023 but weren't coming with some of the Austin builds. There was also some time period where some MYs came with magnetic retractable cover in the trunk. The matrix headlights were only available to Fremont MYs in 2023 but later that same year, Tesla added it to Austin builds. Also HW4 cameras came to the Tesla MYs in the middle of 2023 so a late-2023 Austin MY could have many changes compared to an early-2023 Austin build MY. Also some 2023 MYs came with an armrest that had a manual locking mechanism whereas later 2023 MYs (not sure if only Austin built or both) came with magnets for closing the armrest.
There are also many other minor changes/differences but HW4 (upgraded cameras) and matrix headlights were the 2 big ones people were talking about. It was such a big deal that some people would reject the cars if they didn't have HW4 and/or matrix headlights (the upgraded cameras make a huge difference so I understand why they'd do that).

Congratulations on a beautiful car. The new Red color is beautiful. I use to have a 2018 in the older Red is very nice also, which I sold. I bought a new 2023 Model Y AWD with 20” induction wheels with the tow hitch inventory car. Got it last January when prices were dirt cheap. Since I was a Tesla repeat buyer I got enough credits to pay for the performance boost. So makes it almost as fast as a performance Model Y.
I opted in on FSD prescription. FSD drives very cautiously, which takes time to get use to. But over all works great. But it’s not perfect, you gotta be ready to take over. But I can see in a year, it will almost be perfect. I have to say, FSD at this time drives way better than most of the drivers in my area, Pasadena California. We have allot of aggressive, and dangerous drivers in my city.

It’s a beautiful car ! The interior is simple but very functional. My 2 kids have an S and a Y models: they Love it. Personally, I’m too old for a Tesla and will keep my Lexus hybrid.

I have a scheduled test drive tomorrow. I’m just here doing my home work. I’m really considering buying electric. I have already driven a 2024 Chevy Blazer RS EV.
That's great. You'll enjoy the Model Y for sure. I've driven the Blazer EV RS as well, and it's very nice. Looks better on the interior, and exterior too. But that's subjective for sure, but it doesn't feels as powerful as the Model Y in my experience.

On the configurator once I change it to anything less than the $4250 down it changes from 0.99 to 2.99% interest. It also changes if you put 84 month financing. Can you confirm this please? Thanks!

I’m seeing a small dent on rear quarter panel at 2:28. If your car only has 20 miles on it, was it delivered that way? Maybe you can get Tesla to fix it.

How can you tell it’s a 2024 model? Is it the VIN?
It shows on my insurance and the official paperwork, and the VIN is comes up as a 2024 Tesla Model Y
