Old school flying not banging helicopter around the sky ! Brings back memories of old days - thanks for sharing! Good Luck with 700 machine ( hate that Trex name 🤷🏼)
Thankyou, yes a totally agree with you, I hate to see the 3D style, it's not even flying is it, I enjoy flying like a plane and getting around the sky,
😅 I know mate, it's the frame rate of the camera similarly matched to the head speed, I don't use an RPM governor on my helicopters so it's nice to see its consistent from my throttle curves 😊👌
@@Deej-85 I am impressed that you control the rpm and the pitch. I thought they would have governors on the rpm by now. I had a much bigger one 40 or more years ago but it was more like lawn mower with me along walking behind it. I used to end up in a forward/backward pendulum motion which I could not get out of until the tail rotor hit the ground. It cost me about £60 every time I took it out for replacement blades and tail boom.🙂
@@billhall8745 There is governor on these some decide not to use. I got scared as hell when one of the magnet got let go engine started acting stupid my mind wasn't fast enough I just shut down the engine and auto lol. I should of just turn off the governor with switch. I thought my engine was to explode so that why i shut down engine up high. Once it was the ground of course no damage. 30 to 90 size heli auto very easily with out engine on. Anyway's i notice magnet flew or sensor got loose i cant remember shit that was over 10 years ago.
@@rcrotorfreak Hi I never really got to master helicopters. The big one was very difficult, increasing the rpm then putting pitch on causing the rpm to drop and having to increase rpm again. It was all too much for me. That was about 40 years ago. I was a bit better with electric but my head could not get around traveling towards me. With a rc car I would turn the wrong way but with helicopters I would tip it over. I never did master it and just flew backwards to bring it back. I am really impressed when I watch someone who really knows what he is doing putting his helicopter through it's paces.🙂
@@billhall8745 Actually. Today helicopter is so much easier. You said 40 years ago. That mean power to ratio wasn't right. Also computer radio didn't exist. But dials on radio. Also I don't think 40 years ago was any gyros on them. Today these helicopter are trainers when setup right. Govenor help a lot keeping rpm constent when adding possitive and negative. But even without govenor it is easy because we have computer radio we adjust the pitch curve and throttle curve. I'm sure if someone setup this helicopter for people to learn with lower rpm rotor speed with not so much throw on cyclic. You be learning quickly especially if you practice on sim first. Helicopters are easy to fly but once you up the rpm speed and lot dual rate and learn 3d is when things get complicated. The flybarless stabilization make it easy for biginner too. Start now to learn before it's too late. Get a sim software with a dongle use a computer radio sim helicopter change value on radio learn what it do. Helicopter seem to be hard to fly their not it get hard when it's setup for 3d. He said he does sport flying he's helicopter is setup for sport flying with nice amount throws and expo some don't use expo but just less throw on cyclic. My mind is like Deej Helicopter is faster then me on 3d I rather do sport flying and fly as a helicopter. Helicopter compare to 40 years ago today their fantastic precise. I do have a helicopter fixed pitch nitro from 1980's lol. When that came out it was used with no gyro. Crazy.

Try to get your hands on Hirobo Eagle 3 with OS91 if you could find one. Absolute best …
Or Hirobo Eagle 4 if you prefer Nitro FBL head
Nice to see someone else fly their 700XN properly and not hard core 3D.
Bank and yank, the only way to fly. 🙂🇦🇺
Love it mate thanks for the comment 😊, can't beat a smooth flight, more realistic
That is the kind of flying I do. Nice video
Thanks Jeff, I'm looking forward to some better weather to get out down the club that's for sure 👌
Great Job!
Cheers mate
Looking good mate
Cheers bud 👍
Awesome
Perfect video bro👌
Great filming mate 👌👌
not the first or last film of deej showing his chopper off, good to see you have mended fully
Haha thanks John, yes much better now mate thankyou. Choppers are expensive when used irresponsibly 😂
Me too
very good. I bet there will be someone seeing this thinking that the rotor blades don't go round very fast when it's flying 🙂

What header tank are you using and where may I purchase one?
Hi it's the "quick UK" header tank, in my opinion it's not really needed unless extreme 3D
