- ok i really thought the last one would be a lot better than it was... this was so much fun though!!
in today's sims 4 build challenge we are building apartments in the sims but each apartment is a different budget! this is a take on the "every room is a different budget" challenges that we all know and love and since we have apartments now i thought this would be a great sims 4 build to take on! let me know which one is your favorite!

Does anyone else have the same rug pet peeve that I have? Every Sims builder I've seen puts rugs in places that aren't physically possible. Under fireplaces, under bathtubs, under kitchen cabinets, etc. I know that the Sims obviously isn't realistic, but it's one thing that keeps nagging me when watching builds.
The shower head not touching the wall gets me 😅 but I still love her vids so I just look away lol
My pet peeve is the stove, fridge and sink all in a row. Like...put some cabinet space between that sink and stove! 😂

Build and CAS idea: pick one random dlc for each year of the Sims 4. (Except for 2014, you must select Holiday) Celebration... because having Base Game would make it too easy). Build a house with the packs you get, and then a family to go with it. For Kits... they will obviously only help you with one or the other.
Also, Grimm's guitar counts... so you could get that. Haha.
So 2014-2024, 1 pack for each year.

Every room/apartment is a different lamp colour's emotion (the lamps from having different Sims 3 packs) so like red (romantic), yellow (confident), etc so you can only use that colour but you also have to use things that influence that emotion in the room/apartment

BUILD IDEA!!!
Use a wheel to pick two different decades
eg. 1930 + 1920
Then add them, and thats the decade you have to base the room off!

For a new idea, it'd be weird, you can do each room is a different challenge. So one room random budget another all one color, another a random theme etc
If you havent already you should do every room is a different fairytale or story

Also I have to say, i really don't like how close those fire lights and grills will get to the house, like, it always rubs me wrong to see such a big fire hazard so close to the house. It doesn't have to be like too far or anything but right next to the wall kills me.

I don't know if you did it to just spend the money, but in the 20k house, you don't actually need the sign above the shoe rack - because they updated the shoe rack itself to work like the sign does. (if it was done on purpose just ignore me 😅)

I would like to ask how you turn the bb.moveobjects on? Or any cheats for that matter.
you have to hit ctrl shift and c at the same time on your keyboard to open up the cheats bar!

to rotate it to any angle you have to be on the sims 3 camera setting and hold alt while clicking and rotating!!
