- We retrieved this old dead log from the stump dump. We need battings for our mill buildings. We didn't want to use "customer quality logs" for battings. Did Rick go too far this time?

@@HedgehogLodge-Dale battens are about 5/8" thick. I think the lower profile looks better on the walls.
Rick, on some of your earliest cuts the mill head dropped down at the end of the cut before lifting up...?
