I’ve had this bag for about 8 years now. Used it on and off for about the first 6 but has been my everyday bag for the past 2. And only complaint is the draw string will eventually wear out, I replaced it with a Paracord type string. And the color will sun fade....it’s ALMOST a light yellow color now. Maybe one of the leather button clasp straps is starting to tear. But the structural integrity of the bag has held up great.i believe when I bought it it was a different brand.. virginland is what is says on the leather patch on the inside.
Glad to know it's served you well. Kinda wish I had the smaller size too. Think I'll add a small trash can in mine to help keep the contents from settling and pushing the sides out.
@@CoyoteRidge Yeah the size is funny because it's just SLIGHTLY too big to be a daily commuter bag, which is mainly what I used it for. So laptop, personal items and some gym clothes still don't really fill the bag which makes it kind of "floppy". BUT the times I do use it as a hiking bag or a weekend travel bag it works great, always enough room. I got another bag recently from the Gootium as my daily bag, and now I use this one as a beach/hiking bag that I keep in my trunk. The color finally faded enough to the point that it was looking too raggedy for carrying around during the day. But still great quality and resilience for 8 years of use.
I don't get it. If the backpack closes via some buttons, why is there a need to put straps? I want to get this backpack but closing it with buttons defeats the purpose of the straps. Doesn't it make it too easy for someone on the bus to open it and steal your stuff without you noticing? Do these buttons open easily?
I've been looking for one of those small office trash cans to put in mine to keep everything tighter and give an extra container for catching or storing water in.
I have that bag. Snaps work pretty good so far

Nice unboxing !! Thanks for taking the time to show it. How is it holding up ? Or was it sent back ?
The pack is holding up nice. I've really stuffed it on a couple of occasions and the seams are fine. Think this will last for years.
@@CoyoteRidge thanks so much for the reply
Anytime Jason
Just bought one very happy

Do those side pockets fit a 1 liter water bottle?
It would width wise but you probably won't be able to close the flap.
@@CoyoteRidge thats perfect
What colour is this one? Is it khaki or green?
That one is green
How does it do in rain and snow
