Texas roster was close last year but they were still light on defense. See Michigan (13) Georgia (15) Alabama (10) appears to be the minimum but 6 went in rd 1 & LSU (14) number of players drafted. I do think Texas can win it this year but we'll see.
Texas needs to become the program that kids wanna go to because they become greater not because of the money. Money i understand, but the heart and focus should be on the players gaining greater skills mindset then money that mindset only takes you so far. Prescott is a good example was a better player before the great pay.
The entire state of Texas is spending way too much money on players for most of them to never see real playing time except for the big names!! And if Arch MANNING wasn’t there would these players still go there?!
Pick and choose carefully. I think the coaching staff is spot on with needs vs. saviors. That is a good sign.
