I still bop to Novalis, the first stage in the first Ratchet and Clank game (besides Veldin which is more a tutorial and plays a shortened remix of Pokitaru's theme, which still works well), but then you land in Novalis and MAN it's a crime how short that level is cause that song is an ABSOLUTE banger! Also Maktar Resort. Being kind of a remix of the BTS station from the first game with with more going on in the melody. Instant slot in my MP3 player. That was a glow up!
Yeah, though I can't be the only one who's really upset that there's zero mention of female Lombaxes for like 6 games straight. They made ZERO mention of Ratchet's mother, and it was heart wrenching to find out that it's because one of the main developers was an extreme mysogynist who didn't like the idea of giving a female character prominence..the same reason Angela Cross was so heavily erased from the lore despite having a really cool plot twist of a story and basically being Rivet before Rivet (but WAY more confident and less...... bratty.... yeah, the female hating developer made Rivet whiney because he personally didn't like the idea of a strong female character as was originally planned for her. Explaining the whole "I hate Kit and I don't trust robots despite being a cyborg myself" parts that really annoyed a lot of fans.

I think Full frontal assault is underrated. It's very short, but the few levels are very well done.
R&C: Umbris - Qwark's HQ R&C2: Siberius - Frozen Base R&C3: Zeldrin - Crash Site | In my opinion, the Kerwan revisit in UYA is better than its original counterpart. Deadlocked/Gladiator: Dreadzone Station R&C:SM: Kalidon - Mechanoid Facility I'd have to replay the other games to figure out my favourite planets, as I've really only played them once to get the platinum trophy and that's it.
@@imamradilicu In a game full of banger planets, yeah. Heck even the worst planets like Snivilek and Oozla are still like 7/10 at worst. and despite him putting Gremlin as his least favorite, I actually like it a lot. But yeah that train section leading to the boss fight in Siberius definitely needs respect.
@@buninja5604 I'll save you a slot for Ratchet and Clank 3's worst weapon....the Hacker of that game absolutely KILLING the pace. especially when you have to do what amounts to 4 stages of tempest but harder in the later half of the game. Finally someone who likes Ghost station the music, atmosphere and missions are all absolutely incredible!🔥🔥🔥, As for UYA for me it’s definitely Obani Gemini I’ll never forget that music when I first landed there.🎶🎵
I’m one of the weirdos who was impatient with the Ratchet levels in Crack in Time because I absolutely LOVED the Clank levels in that game. One of the only games where the Clank levels were actually fun!!
Nah they COOKED with the Clank puzzles. they were genuinely fun to me as well. I'm really glad they kept that up with Rift apart cause the "Possibilies" puzzles were also pretty fun. I think Clank sections really shine more when they stop trying to be watered down Ratchet sections and focus on puzzle platforming and intellectual puzzles cause it fits Clank's nature more. Though my favorite thing in Crack in Time was honestly flying around in space landing on the mini planets to do the Zoni challenges while listening to that nice space house music. Just...felt nostalgic to me.
Ok how about "The Worst Planet in every Ratchet & Clank Game"? I only properly played Ratchet 2 and Ratchet 3. Ratchet 2 is honestly the Prison Planet; The Clank Section and *look* another Wrench! Section was just enjoyable especially when the plumber pulls out the Qwark Figure from the Pipes. Ratchet 3 has to be Thran Asteroid Belt. Qwark's Hideout is a really fun challenge and I am very used to the Ice Physics, personally beating the living heck out of Qwark's Robots is awesome. Oh and the Clank Section there is by far my most favorite out of them all.
Those who played the multiplayer really appreciate Blackwater City and Aridia. Shame the video maker isn't a fan, cause those two were my favorites BECAUSE I played the multiplayer to death and back and love the whole concept of capturing the bases.
