Brilliant podcast. I loved the analogies. This podcast should not be dependent on any cricket happening or not. It’s worth listening to you two on many different topics as long as cricket is in the background coz trust me a lot of us 90s cricket fans has this love hate relationship with cricket now and this is so palatable to listen to
I think it was the World Cup where Sharma, generally, said sharafat hatam ho gaye hai in regards to his and the team's batting. But definitely against Pakistan - and Amir - specifically, the 2019 knock seemed to be where he had enough (helped by poor bowling obviously)
Ahmer bhai I know cricket related content kum hai aj kal. Lekin agar viewers ka time zaya krna hi hai tou atleast video mein chapters daal den, so I can waste my time on preferred topics 😅 Much love ❤
Given that not much cricket content to do these days could you guys do some of those greatest spells history videos? Waiting on an umer gul episode or a spinners spell.
I slightly disagree with your Bollywood analogy. SRK is Kohli. Babar is Hrithik Roshan. People thought Hrithik was going to be the next SRK from his break out film but post Dil Chata Hai, the industry had changed. So barring some films where he showcased his talent, he mostly worked with shitty directors and felt out of place. To this day, he himself isn't sure if he wants to be a "Star" or an "Actor". Which I fear might be Babar's legacy. Stuck between the old guard and the new blood.
Kohli is slower in the context of Indian Cricket team. His Career SR is 138. While they got Rohit whose SR is 140 but on his day, his ceiling is way higher. Jaiswal's career SR is 161 and Surya's is 171, that too with 45 average. Insane Numbers. Next, they got Pant, Pandya, Dube - All 3 can play modern T20 Game. When I look at our Pakistani squad, expect for Saim and Azam, and Babar if can replicate PSL batting into International, nobody plays modern T20 Game. Our so power hitters, Fakhar and Ifti's SR hover around 130 mark. If India replace Kohli with Gill (Carrer SR 145) and Rohit with Rinku Singh (Career SR 175), they can out bat any team. Anyway, after they get knocked out in Semis, that's eventually goanna happen
Ahmer must have had an amazing last week, 3 bangers on the trot Badshah, Yes Boss and Hera Pheri....someone with an amazing movie taste is recommending you movies here
Why are you defensive against babars fans lol? He hasn't performed for the last 2 years and is actively not selecting a lot of people on merit and instead has his own favourites.
Exactly I like Babar but I doubt he would perform against Pat Cummins now that he exposed him in Australia and frankly speaking I don't think there are any great bowlers really left in cricket maybe Naseem shows some promise anyway so he scores against mediocre or past their prime bowlers and mostly struggles against spinners
Loved the Babar episode, and loved this as well...no idea what you guys are on about people not liking it. And to think I don't even know who Kendrick and Drake are, or Aditya Pancholi, it was still really enjoyable. The complacency aspect that Osman bhai touches on makes a lot of sense, and unfortunately, Pakistani cricket team in its entirety suffers from this - I call it the Kyrgios-effect. However, not saying that the only way to keep players motivated is through instilling fear of being dropped - I think it's a culture thing as well; why bother to reach the top when you've scraped through, or PCB setting such precedents so as to take away most seriousness from their decision making. As long as the leadership remains toothless, uninspiring, and hypocritical, I don't expect the Pakistani cricket team to operate any differently. We revel in incompetence.
dont get how babar was mistreated? he was given 4 year run at all formats and was not even asked to step down even after home whitewashed etc. the world cup after he was removed we had our most loses for any world cup
@@BattaFast leaked text line is such BS, Rashid Latif made the claim that the chairman was not picking up babars phone. Babars fans made the life of the chairman a living hell They asked for a clarification and showed said clarification. The Babar mob then turned on the pcb for leaking texts. You guys seem smart but fall for this basic bs. Perhaps I give you guys way too much credit
Ok eww @ Aditya Pancholi in Yes Boss - he was so slimy! I prefer the Hritik analogy someone drew in the comments below. But what a banger of an episode yet again! The blame-the-bowlers bit by Osman was 100% right on the money.
Aditya being ewww and slimy is exactly the point - he nailed that character perfectly and the idea is ke maybe try and do a supporting role perfectly than trying to be the main hero
If I were a Pakistani like Ahmer Naqvi and Osman Samiuddin, I would be as bitter as they are regarding India, the BCCI, BJP, Modi, and Bollywood. India is on the verge of becoming the world's third biggest economy by 2028, the BCCI dominates world cricket by generating 80% of the total revenue, the BJP is about to win its third successive national election after injecting peak Hindutva nationalism, and Modi's brand has grown exponentially while he doesn't want to engage with Pakistan at any level. Additionally, Bollywood has surpassed 100 years and is using its soft power effectively, often portraying Pakistanis as enemies. On the contrary, Pakistan's government is unstable, PCB chairmen and coaches are frequently changed like underwears, and globally Pakistan's reputation has been reduced to that of IMF loan beggars and sponsors of terrorism, with one of the weakest passports. In short, I sympathize with Ahmer and Osman.
@@BattaFastIsn't it hypocritical that on a cricket podcast, you can discuss non-cricket-related topics, but when someone comments about non-cricket-related things, it seems to upset you? I find it amusing how you selectively chose the last 10 years to mock an Indian who has already seen his nation win every men's major ICC trophy. If you ask any non-Indian and non-Pakistani which is a bigger achievement in the last 10 years: Pakistan winning the Champions Trophy in 2017 or India winning back-to-back Test series in Australia in 2019 and 2021 (Pakistan has never won a Test series in Australia in their entire history), they would agree it's the latter. Additionally, India won 3 Asia Cups in that period (Pakistan won 0), the Indian U-19 women's team won the World Cup (the Pakistan women's team didn't win), and the Indian U-19 team won 3 World Cups (the Pakistan U-19 team didn't win any in that period). Top tier pod, top tier heartbreak.
Literally you shouldn't be that good.
Such wonderful and humorous content just pulls me towards this.
Love from India.❤
Biggest low of kohli is comparison with babar who has 1 test century outside asia

comparing Kohli and Babar is like comparing Shahrukh Khan and Faisal Vawda 😂😂😂
Or like comparing sunny Leone with your mother
Babur has an avg 29 against India lmao 2 fifties in 13 innings ass@@UltraProMax1
Ahmer- you are absolutely hilarious! I think it’ll be fun having a conversation with you. Love from Nepal!

Rohit is literal mug in t20 wcs hes a lesser version of Babar in that format check his stats lol and then check kohlis stats in t20 wc

100% - there is very little incentive for Pakistani players to think purely of their performances when so much energy is needed for the politics.

Clearly they are having fun. I guess them mentioning that India changed the pitch and Cummins said that he will silence the crowd irked you.
If I was Manish and my team hadn't won a ICC trophy in 10 years I would also recite geopolitical facts on a cricket podcast.
