As an Aussie I think they did a good job with making it as authentic as possible, the trees and landscape look good, and they did a great job on the sound. All those wild bird sounds are real Australian birds, Magpie, kookaburra, Butcher bird, magpie lark, Noisy miner, Spotted dove, Galah, Corella, Australian Raven. They could have just added generic bird sounds but adding the Australian birds makes it far more authentic.

I've got a dog that looks just like that; US ranchers call them "Australian Shepherds" though they bear little resemblance to the pure-breds. They will absolutely run miles in order to catch up to you.
This isn't the 1st time I've seen GE try to pet an aggro animal in a game. He mentioned he watches Yellowstone so hopefully IRL if he gets a chance to visit there he's not the one taking a selfie with a buffalo.
Only thing I can’t think of before you click an item in your inventory like a consumable after opening your back bag click the gun then click the belt position see if it works that way only if you don’t have anything highlighted/ selected in the middle section
BTW, Australia does have a problem with Feral Goats and Feral Pigs (i.e. imported goats, pigs that have escaped into the wild) that are destroying native Flora, and obviously displace native herbivores. I agree that the menu/inventory is rather clunky and not very intuitive, but hopefully with enough exposure the game Dev will make some updates to improve things. Also, also - DO NOT KILL lizards or magpies or anything that doesn't give a bounty!!! (except spiders, you can always kill spiders)

The nuggets are 10 times heavier than the rocks and dirt. The rocks and dirt will fall out. You have to put it in the water switch it around and in the gold will show itself I live in Alaska. I’ve done this many many many times.

Really interesting game and jyst like the real outback everythings large and in charge. The heat is probably what makes everything onery. This definitely needs more exploration

Belt pouches aren't holsters. I'd guess you choose which weapon to equip and hold it. Your pouches should hold consumables like healing items and food. Looks like you have a separate slot for your water. Game looks interesting

This game is cool - love the old money and the old "Telecom" public phones (god I miss those). You used to be able to call someone and it wasn't until they answered would it disconnect - great way to signal Mum "I'm at the station - come and pick me up"! Keep it up Big Fella...
