in Indonesia we call this insect by name : TONGGERET or TURAES
Tonggeret that you see in this video has just come out of its larval shell.
This background sound that sounds noisy is from the sound of this group of insects.
This insect is known for its many members that emit loud sounds from the trees and last a long time.
Some types of katydid have an amazing metamorphosis phase (usually bright metallic green and red ones), because for 17 years they live in the larval phase, before finally in 3 to 7 days they become adult insects and immediately enter the reproductive phase. A few weeks after the marriage, the cicada will die.
