Its largest city is the capital Tehran, followed by Mashhad, Isfahan, Karaj, Shiraz, and Tabriz.

You can definitely take pictures and videos of natural and historical monuments and tourist sights with a drone, but be careful not to take videos of military protected areas because you will be arrested for espionage.
