I love this video but do you think a little zoom out will be better. Seeing the entire plane in the frame including the wingtips and rudder along with some extra space to really put the frame in surrounding context would be wonderful.
Thank you for writing in🙏🏻 Point taken. My view was that if I put the aircraft at the center of the frame with a full view of it, as it touches down & decelerates, the subject would be too far off at the end of the clip. But having said, I’m going to try out & see how it works. Appreciate it putting in your thoughts.
When was this video taken? Can anyone please confirm if the BOM-IST Boeing 777 is still operational or has it been replaced by Airbus 320. I have a ticket on 11th this month...so can anyone please confirm the fact? Ps. - in Turkish Airlines website its showing as A320.
6E17 & 6E18 BOM-IST & IST-BOM at present are operated by their B777. You might check their seat configuration while selecting seats. You’d know if it’s a B777 if you are flying. But so far, I’m seeing only a B777 for the mentioned sector & flight numbers
One of the fact that made my quite sad that one of the secondary runway end, Runway 14 remains closed for 8 months on average per year. The 32 end which doesn't even consists of ILS is used most often. Same with 09 but here both have an ILS so it makes sense. That sad thing is I can only see runway 14 departures that too very rarely. Lets hope that this july it gets active
Yes they have started deploying. As of now, they are used from Mumbai & Delhi to Dubai. They probably would be repainted, but I don’t see that happening in the near future.
There are still 3 of them at Mumbai. Though they have been deregistered and now aren’t part of Air India, it’s just a matter of time before they fly out
@aerowanderer oh ok. We appreciate you for keeping us updated. I hope they still keep them there. What they should do is they should trade them with Boeing 747- 8 .
I believe these are temporary. Mostly for crew familiarisation. They have already started using these for international operations starting with Dubai. So I doubt these domestic legs will be last long
The old design of Air India was much much impressive and unique specially windows were giving royal look. I feel the tail should be painted with TRINGA and AIR INDIA should be huge and windows should remain with red outline and slightly pointed on the top as it was.
Landing at Mumbai Airport is always a tricky challenge for the pilots due to abnormal wind activities but its very significant that all the foreign airlines pilots did butter smooth landing with delayed nose landing after touchdown but domestic flights like Vistara, Indigo, Air India too, most of those landings are kind of hard landing and as soon as they touch down, they force their nose down too, which is not feasible actually.. (I live in Mumbai and frequently fly and I felt it personally that domestic flights do hard landing at Mumbai airport)..
The only plane spotter who uses tripod and delivers the best footage

That new air india livery is insanely beautiful. Hope they apply to all their aircrafts including the 747 if they still operating it.
Sadly the B747 have been taken off the fleet. Though initially I was skeptical about the livery but it seems to grow on me😀
Hey man on this same day I was on mumbai airport for catching flight for dxb

Have any of the AI a350s been deployed internationally? and do you know if AI's old livery narrow bodies will be sent for repainting?
Yes they have started deploying. As of now, they are used from Mumbai & Delhi to Dubai. They probably would be repainted, but I don’t see that happening in the near future.
Nice capture👍

is air india still operating Boeing 747?
Nope. All of them have been retired post COVID. One of them flew out from Bombay recently after being sold. Three of them still lie stored at BOM
old air india looks and that colour always fucking awesoom
Absolutely man. Love the old livery.
Whats ur camera specs bro?
Hey! I really like your videos. Which camera have u used in this video dude?
I have very less knowledge about aeroplane but how come 747 is there are not they retire?

I thought they all had left from Mumbai International Airport. @aerowanderer
@@priyankdesai7944 Not yet. Only one of them has left. VT-EVA. VT-ESO, -ESP & -EVB are still at BOM
@aerowanderer oh ok. We appreciate you for keeping us updated. I hope they still keep them there. What they should do is they should trade them with Boeing 747- 8 .
From where did you shoot these beautiful videos?
Never knew Indigo had B777
Probably because they use them only between Delhi, Mumbai & Istanbul. I believe it’s almost close to a year since they acquired them.
I love my india
I'd love to give you a Thumbs Up on your video, but there's to much 7887 Nightmare Liner footage, so two Thumbs Down,.
Sir may I ask which camera you are using?
W VIDEO BUT NO WAY HE MISSED THE 747 IN BAGROUND
exact location from where you have taken the video? I mean where in Jari mari
Was the indigo flight from Chennai 6E 5314?
Sorry typo
Very pitty to see air india is operating 350 for extra short routes than longer hours
How surprising
I believe these are temporary. Mostly for crew familiarisation. They have already started using these for international operations starting with Dubai. So I doubt these domestic legs will be last long

How many b747 does aur India have ? I just saw 4 in the video at the same spot
They did have 4. At present they have 3. All of them parked at Mumbai & featured in our video
