I live in a town north of Ossipee. My wife's parents had a beautiful place on Province Lake. I have always loved this area. The guitar piece is beautiful as well. Wish I could hear more!
I really enjoyed this video, thank you. Family has lived there, John Currier on Effingham Road and also the Downs family up on Simon Hill Road. Most importantly, you answered the question: Where Is Granite. I think "up high" is a good answer!
Amazing videos a lot of history to research you had to do was amazing because most of the people from town that would know it heard about it I gone thank you for the video
Love this video. My parents Tom and Joan Snider bought a house they called Rest-A-Bit up near the top of Granite Mountain. My father put indoor plumbing and electricity in the house. Unfortunately, it burned a few months after they sold it. They bought & sold on Browns Ridge Road, then near Ossipee Lake. My Mom is now 90 years old & refers to her & my Dad "flipping houses" long before it was cool LOL.
Joe Bradley, is it possible to get in touch with this man someway? Im local and very interested in what he talks about, and i have things id love to share with him that i think he would really appreciate. Perhaps an email or something?
I have to say something but not get any info out here I’ll give two clues I found a small cedar chest fitted with brasss locks, hinges and around the rest of the chest was hand made brass fittings around the chest so it had silver only not saying how much only that it was on a hidden coast but still known and I detected it in NH the sad part is that people still search and I found it in 2020 if you treasure hunt do it alone.
Thank you for sharing.
I'm so blessed to live on Granite. Great area. Great people. Beautiful Natural Resources.
Man, I wish I could have met this man. He’s wise and so very quirky, I just love it!
Nice good job ... we need much more of our history . End corruption free humanity...

Excellent documentary
There is a great example of a working Pit Saw (up&down) at Kings landing in New Brunswick and you can find a video of it in action on youtube.

I live in Holderness. Thanks for this video on the beautiful Ossippee area. ❤
It is fascinating stuff. I might take a look for myself (if I get the permission), for I live in Eastern township about 50 miles north of NH border.

What is striking to me are barns connected to homes.
This place would be perfect for a PHd thesis in history or archeology.

He’s with the wind, now
