Spent $289.24 at Sam's.... Made $526.50 in sales... You made $237.26 in 2 weeks.... That's $118.63 in one week.... Drove 32 mi in a Ford escape that gets 33 miles to the gallon, not including wear-and-tear and two employees and a vending license fee.... Not exactly rolling in dough.

@@123pizzavic 3 things to take into account here. taxes. they can write off miles they drive and restocking supplies as taxes for the business. But yea, overall you'd prolly need to make about 20 runs without something breaking to pay off your machines and become profitable assuming each one here is about $1000 which is pretty realistic if not more
@@TheOmniChungus I agree. But if your gonna write off miles for fuel and wear and tear... That's additional costs up front that are not even calculated.
Just a thought. You might want to switch out your display pops on your soda machine. Most sodas have best by dates of 3 months for diet, and 9 for regular. No sense in wasting your display product. Also the display drinks might have dates visible on them.

You must have a really generous price on the second soda machine for it to be nearly empty and still only have about $95 in sales for it (unless you emptied out some of the cash on a previous visit without restocking). I’m sure your customers appreciate that. Great video!

Hey there! We primarily get locations from Facebook marketplace posts! We just pick and choose the ones we think we perform well!

How do you guys approach new potential locations regarding electricity and safety? Do you usually pay rent or pay them 10% of profits? Or just make a deal and convince them the machine will help their place (example: schools: kids dont have to waste time while studying to get food,…) and get the location and electricity for free? Could you tell me a bit about the approach of a location where you would like to place a vending machine?
Has a business owner asked you to sign any sort of contract or written agreement before putting the vending machine in the location? Is it normal to have handshake agreements if you are not paying commission to the location owner?
Love the video! Also, you guys should get a collapsible folding wagon for the locations without a cart! I use one to haul our groceries in from our detached garage.

including gas, restocking, and maintenance, what was your total profit? it says 526.50, but like, you spent $306 to fill them, so im guessing you profited about $150-200ish from this run? honestly not bad im just looking for more accuracy when it comes to money made since this video is about how much money you made that would fall under profits instead of just total. Also how much did you pay for those machines? most machines I see online even on marketplace are at least $600+ for a used one, and hardly any used ones have card readers, each card reader for a vending machine adds like an extra $150-200 to get that installed, and a new vending machine will easily run $800+, so im assuming with 4 machines with card readers you paid around $4000 if you got lucky and got a deal, so about how many runs of these vending machines can you do before you need to maintenance the machine? That will determine how many runs you'd have to make in order to actually pay off the machines and make money with this business. Thanks, sorry for the long winded essay, just want some accuracy on the profits to actually figure out how long till your actually profiting. one moar thing, do you write off your miles you drive for taxes and when you restock are those wrote off too?
It’s a nice return in 12 days but definitely the cost of inventory isn’t cheap. Seeing all of those snacks they bought I wouldn’t be surprised if there bill was over $150, and that’s Sam’s club.

im actually not sure, because your question actually makes sense but I feel like the concept of what this guy is doing is waiting for most of everything to go away before restocking, plus restoking before almost everything is sold out is going to lead to buying more snacks and drinks more often.

There’s been plenty of times I’ve wanted to get something from a vending machine but it was empty so I got nothing and after he does that for a while he should be able to get a close gauge of how much he should be buying

You just go in the facility and talk with who? Also is it good to start with just 1 or i have to invest in multiple at once.

Keep in mind why do you count the change that you put in there? Change should be in there prior to stocking due to change given to the consumer when they insert the bills.

Small portable vacuum you get in car stores or even a small can compresed air. Can help clear outf all them troubles in ventelation

We have a ton of keys too lol, when we go service we normally take a secondary pouch to pull all of our different keys in. But for this service since we only serviced these vending machines, we just brought 1 copy of each key on a key chain.

What percentage of sales do you have to pay the owners of the property where you set up your machines? They are supplying the space and electricity so they must be getting some percentage of the cut. Years ago I worked at Toys-R-Us and we had several of the small ride ons that took a quarter for each ride. When the owner of the rides come by to collect his quarters he had a counter and gave us our percentage as soon as he counted all the money. It wasn't a lot but it was basically free money for the store.

Problem is....when vending stops functioning which happens quiet often. I've been in vending business for over 10 years and it's not easy as it seems.

Im trying to figured out the numbers and the time invested in this. In todays age driving to Costco on sundays and do the shopping will take 2-3h, than drive to location and fill the machine another 2-3h, than go wait in line at the bank another 1-2h so its minimum 5hours of work.
Gas probably 20$ for the day hopping you are close by.
Wifi bill, electricity bill, machine rent bill, credit card fees bill. You said it's 50% profit so you made 250$ for 12 days minus the fees so rounding up to 200$ for 5h
It is not bad, also your credit card points will add up pretty fast, but it's 2 sunday you are loosing every month, for a small 200$ I guess you could stack more machine but than you have to drive further, its about 100$ per machine per month for 2.5hours each
It's ok, but it is not with out risk, machine will break, you have a maintenance cost to take into equation, plus thief, obo, insurance.
Also your calcul is for 12 days, thats if you actually makes it to the machine every 12 days, for your machine to be trully maximised. If you dont make it, you have an empty machine not making money, if your sick or having personal reason.
It's not a bad idea, but over time, its time you invest in a very bad way that could makes you a lot more money like learning a skill or doing art or doing another job that is much more fun. On the long run you ll get bored pretty fast

My uncle used to own a vending machine buiness had 16 machines but he sold candy back when people bought it out of machines for a quarter a piece like M+M ike+mikes and gumballs did pretty good thats back when you could afford it most people these days dont carry around change in thier pockets
