  • Chris Coy is one of the one of the top young NFL agents in the business. He has been a registered agent with the league for 6 years. He represents a long list of clients and is increasing his client pool every year.
In episode 22 he sat down with us and told us the steps to become an agent, he explained the behind the scenes business that goes into sports contracts and explained the process of recruiting clients. You don’t have to be an athlete to have a career in sports. #nfl #sportsagent #nflagent

Watching this now in 2022, its humbling to see these guys early beginning of the pod and how far they have come. When Rashad said "ep 22, week 22" all I could say was WOW. Came a long way boys, proud of you!

Love your Podcasts! I am also a teacher, high school, and many students are athletes. Our end of year project was having my freshmen create a summer Podcast list to which I added my top 6 and EYL was #1! I also played the episode, How NFL players get paid, which we all really liked. You guys are relatable, inspiring, and very knowledgeable, and thanks for adding the book reference at the end to help promote literacy!

Watching from the UK. Nice interview, I enjoyed the insight. Love hearing how sports agents from the US do business in comparison with European agents. I particularly liked the way this agent subtlety stated the shift in which you recruitment athletes. Now longer standing on the sidelines waiting to get a word in but taking your recruitment to the digital “cool” era where young up and coming agents can really excel with a well thought out digital prospectus.
