I’m from Mobile Alabama everybody down here was a huge Roy Jones jr fan, p cola right down the street from us and even in Alabama we was proud of him, I meet him before he was very cool and humble even tho I’m from bama I’ll say.......p cola in da house lol
I was stationed @ Corry Station in Spring 93, I was at the light with some navy friends when his entourage come out of the airport with a police escort, Roy was standing in the sunroof of his limo proudly holding his newly acquired title. The man loves Pensacola Fl and brought the belt home. Lots of good memories from my time there but that one stands out.
He said "lil kids getting knocked out at school trying to be like me putting their hands behind their back" 😅. He ain't lying Kids please stop trying that in a real fight....YOU ARE NOT ROY JONES JR.
