      ty very much kind sir. IF you have any issues with the sump and baby fish or something remember you can totally just rip the sump wall off and use a bubble filter or nothing. I just realized this as of recent

    there's many upgrades available on Etsy for the flex 9,15 and 32.5 including better intake covers so don't have to worry about small fish getting stuck. I recommend checking them out, I'm looking into a Flex 15 myself.

    Is the wire from the filter supposed to be exposed to the water? If so let me know that it should be in the water. If not please inform me how else you should do it!

      @Nice-Poeci-Fancy-Guppies  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      yea thats totally fine- the pump should be sitting on the bottom of that compartment- gravity will do the rest

    I always appreciate nice plants in aquarium, but sometimes think people set these tanks up just to have a tank full of plants and the fish are secondary

    Hi. Does this still make your water surface got oil ?

    • @Nice-Poeci-Fancy-Guppies
      @Nice-Poeci-Fancy-Guppies  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No i have not had any film on top as long as I keep the pump running, the surface tensions breaks up any bio film that may form.

    How much Stratum did you need for the 15g?

    What lights did you add to this tank?

    • @Nice-Poeci-Fancy-Guppies
      @Nice-Poeci-Fancy-Guppies  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      it was just some random light kit that came with a 29 gallon from petsmart, Ive tried to find the exact light on amazon but eventually it just dissappeared off the face of the earth, the exact light that is.

    hello, does the pump is silent?

    • @Nice-Poeci-Fancy-Guppies
      @Nice-Poeci-Fancy-Guppies  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes , especially because its basically a sump the pump itself its very quiet and unless the water is low you dont hear the flow either.

    first problem should be easily fixed by cutting up a piece of filter sponge and fitting it in between the intake grill and the back wall.
    the intake grill (black rounded plastic with slots cut in em) snaps of and pops back on easily.

    • @Nice-Poeci-Fancy-Guppies
      @Nice-Poeci-Fancy-Guppies  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually just rip the whole plastic sump wall out- its lightly glued and allows you to have the full 15 gallons.

    • @CommentAndFavorite
      @CommentAndFavorite 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      And the second problem* is a pretty easy fix, I lost a remote when I was 19 and since then I made the choice to leave all remotes in the same place. I've got string lights, color changing led lamp bulbs, room lighting remotes, the stupid DvD & BluRay remote I barely use, old sound system remotes, all sitting in a little box with their corresponding use written on them.
      Haven't lost one since. ^^
      *Edit: Typo.

    So beautiful! I have the fluval 5gallon and it is amazing except for the high flow. It’s good to know this tank doesn’t have that problem! I love the bursts of red and all the hidey holes for the fisheys! They must love this tank! So much life in one little 15 gallon!

    I contacted fluval about the filtration problem they denied it and tried to blame me for my cleaning schedule and stocking. I had a betta.... if that was the case my other w aqariums would have problems. Piss poor excuse from fluval.

    Great video! I just got this tank myself and was would what fish would you recommend for this tank for a beginner to the hobby?

    • @Nice-Poeci-Fancy-Guppies
      @Nice-Poeci-Fancy-Guppies  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yo- thanks for the comment. I would recommend something like neon tetras / endlers / guppies with shrimp. I think the guppies or endlers will be more hardy depending on your water parameters but neon tetras would def like the aquarium and look cool when they school. Maybe even some psuedomugil dwarf rainbow fish since they come from very small pools and streams.

      @Nice-Poeci-Fancy-Guppies  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yo- thank you very much! I looked for the link and I just cant find the seem one for the life of me. It was the same type they sold with display tanks at petsmart for a 29 gallon. If I were to find another led light to secure/ adhese to the inside of the lid I would try one of these www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2334524.m570.l1313&_nkw=led+strip+aquarium&_sacat=0

      I added a 14" submersable LED purchased from Walmart pet department for $20 (Interpet brand). Stock light alone is good only for low light plants. Use super glue or aquarium silicone as cement.

    When you had only the original light, what setting did you have it on and for how long? There are different light brightnesses and right now I just use the white light at like 5 clicks below the brightest setting.

    Wait, this costs 130$ is the US? In Norway they cost like 240$ (2400kr). That’s like double the price!

    • @Nice-Poeci-Fancy-Guppies

      Man that means their 32 gallon must be like 500$ without the stand. Might as well get a rimless with a co2 system for that price. I think I actually got mine on a sale for 110$ a couple years back on Amazon.

    I love mine I just started the aquascape and have 2 gourami fish, 4 tiger tetra, a snail, and a red tail shark. It works well my shark is not that aggressive and he hides in my totem statue. All in all was easy to set up and this weekend will be my first water change. So interested to see if the plants will keep growing. Love your tank looks amazing!
