PLEASE, i know without a doubt they will not hesitate to be truthful and real about them and their story. I feel like this is rare in this industry because a lot of artist fear backlash from their company or the public. But Mamamoo has been really open and frank about everything. They’re hasn’t been a time that i recall where they try to sugar coat their feelings
Nicely done. Hopefully this will open the eyes of anyone who thinks MMM are just beagles with good voices. I've noticed that with the exception of the Yes I Am explanation video Mamamoo rarely reveals more than the basic themes of their songs and MVs and don't talk much about their creative process. It was most glaring with 4 Seasons because it was so complex but other than an intro video to announce the 4S4C project they never went into depth about the concepts behind the songs & MVs, at least that I've seen translated. But it's not like they're hiding information - Zach Sang asked the right question and Hwasa explained how Be Calm fit into Spring/Yellow, which I hadn't heard her discuss previously. Artists prefer to let their work speak for itself but in the case of 4 Seasons I think the lack of explanation did them a disservice because 4S4C isn't well understood by most people and it didn't achieve anywhere near the recognition and it deserves as the most ambitious, complex artistic project ever produced by a girl group.
@CHING GAEY Someone should do a 4S4C explanation video for the basic ideas and show how they're explored in Paint Me and the 4 title track MVs: the cycle of 4 seasons, 4 colors, and 4 emotions/relationship stages as each member expresses them in her own unique way via the characters they portray in the MVs. Imo they also touch on deeper concepts like Taoist 5 elements & colors theory (black being left for the next album) and imply that it's all part of a life cycle that also cycles around via reincarnation and throw in hints about their fated destiny to be 4X4 Forever that are later revealed in reality in BLACK but that's just my opinion since they don't talk about it.

I'm so amazed with how involved they are in the creative process because their work really shows their creativity and distinct color when they make songs. I'm especially amazed with Moonbyul's writing skills. Seems like she made her own mark/style of rapping esp with the lyrics too
I'm thankyou that their CEO/RBW trusted them start from the beginning, even theres a saying that their aren't fit in korean standard. They trust MAMAMOO. We trust MAMAMOO

Why they receive so much hate is beyond me? If they're not your cup of tea, plainly, don't drink and move on. No need to be disrespectful. They are a BADASS Singing group.
they don't have all the fame and popularity like most of kpop group but they they got all the honesty and the passion in doing music and longevity what is important and they definitely own that
I hope some other groups are like this, in a way they have freedom to express and create their own masterpiece, I mean all of the creatives (including the album concept and lyrics) should be also from idols not only from creative director or producer.) which I think it's still lacking from some groups that are really talented but wasted in terms of creating their own concept and music because it seems that some of them aren't given the chance to fully showcase their skills.
