I started work early in life. Of all the jobs I had, I hated jobs where I had a supervisor. *Many was abusive, incompetent, and illiterate of the job themselves.* I sought work where I was mine own supervisor. The only approval I needed was those I provided service, or I was given total control of the job itself. *I Still Had To Work Two Full-Time Jobs To Cover Bills, Needs, Tools, Standard Comforts Of Home.* All entertainment done at home because I couldn't afford to go on dates, or take myself out most times. *Two Full-Time Jobs, And Neither Minimum Wages.* I worked minimum wage jobs too! I NEVER REFUSED TO WORK WHEN I HAD NO OTHER CHOICES. *I never stopped looking for better also.* Whatever! I always tried to work in positions I like. That's the motivation to keep me going.
I just love your podcast . Makes me feel good about the choices me and my husband are making day by day , even if it is not the easiest life we chose. We do what we love to do and it will pay off we truly believe
I definitely agree that we should be open to anything and hear out to people as well, because we cant learn if we have that close mind! Learning and learning through others will surely help us be more success rather than getting stucked! Nice sharing!❤
Thanks & good job. Some have argued that a person in a state of happiness doesn't feel the need to do anything (human being versus human doing). Why do we have to do anything? Isn't that a form of people pleasing? My answer to what I want to do is nothing. That is the ultimate reward. Another psychologist suggests that the goal is to live in defiance of the toxic people who raised us (narcissists?). Doing nothing is the ultimate rebellion. Others want us to please them. I please myself. Think about that.
Change is scary, so scary. I miss my strong and fearless self. Now I have a family, a partner who I need to take into consideration, it's not just me, not just my Change, not just my decision. How can I convince my partner that we'll be ok if I leave my job and start my own business? I'm 45 , he's 52 so we are not young anymore..

I'm 66 and I always tried to find what I like to do. *There's A Lot Of Things I Like To Do!* I retired at 48 due to military injuries, but worked in a large variety of jobs. The military not only a job, also a school to learn more things to do. *Now working on 3-D glasses for Standard T.V.!* Assembled some electric bikes. I have a lot of skills I've learned. *But use social media to learn more.*
