Borris was born a musical genius , when he joined his first band he never owned or actually played with a drum kit before even though he said he did. When they found out about they were upset, but still kept him since he did so well.
Well done sir! Boris is my personal favorite drummer. I think he's really a musician first and a drummer second, if that makes any sense. Still blows my mind how he could take such slow and mellow music and somehow interweave such interesting and intricate patterns into it and make it sound sooo good.
Sounds good! but Boris used to play a Zidljian 18" China boy cymbal... i don't remember if it was a China low or China high though. Boris is the best drummer in Cure history :)
