great stuff, I watched that insane 3d printed robocop suit from Chris bosh props but that maybe a bit to far since it took 5 years to make lol. But this costume really looks the part and must be so much more comfortable and light to wear. I would love to attempt to build this. would it be a silly idea to start here ? is it better to just practice making something else first?
@@davidherron3136 I suggest you make the sample project helmet first from the link I posted up there. It's where to learn how to actually do this. If you grasp the concepts of that, you can really build anything with pepakura and foam. Thank for watching, David.

So freaking awesome! Glad to see you finally finish RoboCop. I know it's been on your list for a long time. You do such a great job with the movement too.
Thanks, Brian! I wore this for 5 hours at the convention that day and the longer I was in the suit, the better I got. Fatigue of wearing it luckily didn’t hamper the practice I got in it that day. I was a bit rusty here in this video, as it’s been a month now of not wearing it or doing the walk in it but I still had the right idea for the video. I’ll probably keep the concept of the movements with me forever at this point.
I remember the days when this costume was still on the drawing boards. Back in the Hero Tutorials days. I can't believe it's been more than a decade since then. Great to see you back, and in this suit! I guess I'm kinda in the same boat as you. I lost the drive to build costumes the past 3 years and found no compelling reason to make a new one. But now I'm trying to learn the basics of 3D printing to upgrade my Mark 85 helmet, and finally (after 10 years) have the know how to have it fully motorized.
Back then, it was a cardboard attempt. That was almost 10 years ago. I guess it was better off that I didn’t actually follow through back then. I still had to level up my own skills. I probably wouldn’t have been too happy with it back then to he honest. A lot of people have been printing that Mark 85 suit. It seems like the gateway into full 3D armors these past few years. It’s a very impressive project once it’s completed.
@@Heroesworkshop Your posts of the cardboard drawings are exactly what I remember! Haha. For some reason they're almost a core memory from the days I was active on the RPF and the FB page. I don't think I have space for a new Mark 85, and I think my foam suit holds up pretty well (maybe tweak it a bit for its next outing).
