God, you just made me remember all of my childhood friends that I live with for years when suddenly I have to move 500 miles away from them. We use to go to school together, we will go play and see the fish near the river. Just the seven of us playing, living and having fun as friends. It has been 8 years since I have seen them. I forgot their names, their voice and even some of their faces but still remember what we do and I cried, I really cried thinking about them. Just now I have realised to treasure every moment and to never regret one thing in life.

I feel like a lot of people are shaming foreigners who like Japan and their culture. Often times, I hide the fact that I watch anime and read manga to some people too because that’s how society see us otaku. But I’m so into Japan because of the influence from anime and manga. They gave me a taste of magic, living in a fantasy world, seeing the beauty of our world that were blinded by society, gaining trust in love, family and friendship, believing in hopes that we are almost losing. I feel like I can breathe better when I’m drowning myself in all these. Taking all the lessons I learned and opening my eyes to see the world at a different yet better view. Not all otaku are living in their room from their parent’s house with all windows closed, most probably fat and ugly wearing glasses, only into waifu. We are all human beings just like everyone else that wants to believe in hope. Sounds cliché but what’s the origin of cliché?

You know, I used to wonder myself why some people are like that though. I mean what's the problem with anime? They think anime is just kids stuffs like cartoon shows or just full of ecchi stuffs? And back when I am at school I notice one of my friend is being called an 'otaku kid' by others but he seemed quiet about it, I went on with him as usual and only to end up liking anime myself. XD Apparently, when some months have passed, they noticed that I liked anime(or so they thought) because I got a keychain of Hatsune Miku at my pencil case(gift from that friend of mine). And you know what, I openly said this to them "Well what's wrong with liking anime?"...1 replied "it's for kids only", then I showed him AoT and HunterXHunter. He went silence after that, I also told them some pretty good anime that maybe they should try giving a go(I don't know what happened after that). The next few weeks, that otaku friend of mine called me 'Weebs', that sounds funny really. I guess it's because I am more 'opened' to others about anime stuffs and I am still with the society although they know it clearly and I'm not even trying to hide that fact. People can be funny sometimes. And I totally understand your passion towards animes. Have a nice day.

I feel like a lot of people are shaming foreigners who like Japan and their culture. Often times, I hide the fact that I watch anime and read manga to some people too because that’s how society see us otaku.
But I’m so into Japan because of the influence from anime and manga. They gave me a taste of magic, living in a fantasy world, seeing the beauty of our world that were blinded by society, gaining trust in love, family and friendship, believing in hopes that we are almost losing.
I feel like I can breathe better when I’m drowning myself in all these. Taking all the lessons I learned and opening my eyes to see the world at a different yet better view.
Not all otaku are living in their room from their parent’s house with all windows closed, most probably fat and ugly wearing glasses, only into waifu. We are all human beings just like everyone else that wants to believe in hope.

People tend to get jealous when someone is passionate about something, because they’re missing that passion. Or they’re just an ass or a troll, which neither should be given any attention too. Good comment btw
You know, I used to wonder myself why some people are like that though. I mean what's the problem with anime? They think anime is just kids stuffs like cartoon shows or just full of ecchi stuffs? And back when I am at school I notice one of my friend is being called an 'otaku kid' by others but he seemed quiet about it, I went on with him as usual and only to end up liking anime myself. XD
Apparently, when some months have passed, they noticed that I liked anime(or so they thought) because I got a keychain of Hatsune Miku at my pencil case(gift from that friend of mine). And you know what, I openly said this to them "Well what's wrong with liking anime?"...1 replied "it's for kids only", then I showed him AoT and HunterXHunter. He went silence after that, I also told them some pretty good anime that maybe they should try giving a go(I don't know what happened after that).
The next few weeks, that otaku friend of mine called me 'Weebs', that sounds funny really. I guess it's because I am more 'opened' to others about anime stuffs and I am still with the society although they know it clearly and I'm not even trying to hide that fact. People can be funny sometimes. And I totally understand your passion towards animes. Have a nice day.
Sometimes, people just can’t discern between being overly obsessed and actually having a passion for Japan and their culture. I entirely agree with you. One day i’d love to visit Japan, of course every country has their own culture and what not but Japan just seems like a nice place. Every country has its problem but even so, Japan is one of those countries that catches my eye.

The body-swapping, memory loss/gain, saved Mitsuha's life, and connected two different people from different places and time. It has went beyond science and art. I can't believe that such a brilliant and beautiful film ever exists.
After 6 years, movie got rereleased in my country and I finally witnessed this masterpiece on big screen.
