    Im so sick of hearing about this guy. Its been 3 straight offseasons of Rodgers being the center of attention even though he hasn’t played good football since 2021. The fact that he was seriously considering leaving football to be the VP of a 3rd party candidate that has literally zero chance of actually winning the election just goes to show where Rodgers is at. He isn’t all in on football anymore, he’s all in on getting attention and publicity.

      Smoothbrain take. The reason you keep hearing about him has less to do with him trying to foist himself into the headlines and more to do with Florio and others being completely unhinged about the guy, still mad and butthurt that he lied about taking the vaccine. Yeah, he occasionally seeks attention on McAfee's show, but many of these things are topics I would never hear about if not for Mike Florio getting mad at the latest Rodgers news, often without Rodgers actually doing or saying ANYTHING (as is the case here).
      But Florio, Nick Wright, etc. have the ultimate idiotic take that Rodgers is supposed to make a big public show about denying or addressing every single controversy they drum up. They want him to act like some sort of a puppet, "I refuse and deny any allegations that I will be VP for RFK, and I deeply apologize for the pain and mental anguish it caused people to hear those words about me, and I will try to do better next time someone else talks about me because somehow that is my responsibility." Is this the apology you want? What exactly is Aaron Rodgers supposed to do for you here?

  • @quiddity131
    @quiddity131 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +9

    I personally think Rodgers is an ass, but Florio, why in the world should he talk to you? You hate him. You want him to fail. You don't want him to have the right to express his opinion on things. No athlete should be under any obligation to talk to a media that hates them and will do anything they can to twist everything they can to make them look bad. If members of the media elite like Florio don't want Rodgers to get so much attention, it's easy. Stop talking about him. The things he says are spread out exponentially because hot take artists in the media spend an absurd amount of time talking about him every time he says anything.

      Well said. I do not personally think Rogers is an ass but your point was well made either way I agree with you. Also, if Florio has Camera Muscles about asking Rodgers all these questions, why doesn't he go to a media availability or delegate a PFT Schmuck to go ask them? Oh right, cause he's just bluffing to create content during the lull of an NFL offseason
