I think this song is one of the best examples of perfectly fitting with the rest of the show. It was used in a variety of situations but somehow managed to capture the intended feelings every time

I picture this scenario: Guts finally slays Griffith/Femto after a series long events of terrible high cost!.... Guts moves away from the corpse, bleeding to death. Walking his dying steps as he observes a dead world around him. The rain soaking his face. His last thoughts goes; was it all worth it? ...Rest in peace Miura-san.
Not bad but i hope high costs would be him losing his allies or something, as of now his companions don't know what they're truly up against and if he lost them he would probably revert back to pure hatred. And as in terms of a dead world i hope it would revert to before griffith used the behelit or before anyone used it then the pages slowly go from black to matte to gray, then showing another kid probably blonde or something who is shown sacrificing someone to become god, and then it just goes black. TL DR: some fanfic ending, also the ending is supposed to show that "heavenly" power = Human greed. And supposed to make the reader understand that humans are the hugest threat to themselves.

This sounds like something u would hear in a very ambient save room. Something similar too castlevania if u played and seen any of those save rooms. Absolutely love it cuz its mad relaxing and helps me think..
