that’s because couture is made to look good on the person and not on the hanger ready to wear looks good on the hanger making it more appeasing for people so that they buy but couture is made to actually look good on the person

LITERALLY bc i didn't expect them to spend soo much money on the wardrobe when you could get clothes as beautiful for a fraction of the price. only real fashion moguls would know which brand that dress was from, i do understand that the show is meant to reflect the opulence of wealth, but still damn
you do realise that brands/clothing companies let people hire their clothes or are sometimes gifted for publicity? they did not purchase every single clothing item for the show
@@sharonag2870 of course i do, but a very large amount of money is still spent on the wardrobe. jeff got one of his suits tailor made for one episode or so, so honestly even if the brand has gifted them products they’d still have to spend a large amount to reach that level of prestige.
@@d44347 Those clothes are obviously sponsored by their maker themselves. I mean, having your product in a show with a decent traffic, that's huge advertisement.

on another note DYNASTY is a show that actually understands that style is personal to a character and they actually put effort into the fashion on the show (despite that not being part of the plot really)
netflix needs to take notes instead of dressing everyone from the same GAP warehouse

@@KARINA29534 Netflix original shows costumes are kind of a running joke among viewers as it looks like they dress everyone with the same style as if they bought in bulk from GAP. Like nice clothes but not super nice. Also completely ignoring character in dressing different people. Take Winx for example: it was supposed to be an early 2000s fever dream, but instead they look like 30 year old soccer moms with no individual style and looking like they bought off the mannequin at Anne Taylor factory. 🤷🏻♀️

It's amazing how she remembers most of the scenes associated with each outfit. It's also incredible to watch Liz on Dynasty now, as I've been watching her since she was a teenager on Victorious and I was a kid. She certainly has become a wonderful actress and performer. DYNASTY rocks! I love all the drama.
