    Most clever thing I've seen all day. It's only 7:45 AM, but still. Regarding the comment about letting out slack, I'd probably only use this if you knew your partner was going to move very fast and not fall, like in an alpine setting. Cool trick!

    What's the process like to lower someone once the knot has been weighted?

      This hitch can't be configured to lower someone if it's been weighted. If they fall and want to be lowered back down they would have to stand up so you could remove the carabiner so you could lower them. There is a way to reconfigure the system to lower someone that can't unweight the rope but it's more complicated and would probably be best for another video.

      You can pull the extra locker down to put more rope in between the two lockers then milk the rope out on the climbers side, it's annoying but you could still get them all the slack they need.
