I think this could be one of Grubby's mains, micro and farm hungry. And all late game heroes are good at this MMR I think because people don't know how to end. (Also yay for coach games! Love the coaching sessions)

I think games speed can vary depending on the supports ability to provide good vision/ protection for the carries. A good carry cannot end the game faster due to bad starting game or lack of good decision that is presented in-game due to lack of wards. A good early hero can be easily beaten by a seasoned player who wants to counters it correctly. The coaching sessions are definitely A+ quality. @Grubby I hope you get coaching on counter picking or ideal picks based on current hero bans.

The way grubby's brain works for always being aware of neutral stacks is something I don't think you can really learn. That's natural born talent on display IMO.. It really blows my mind because I have been playing this game forever and still around 5k mmr. I can say for myself that this keen awareness to always take a moment to step back, look at the game time, and recognize/take advantage of an opportunity to stack neutrals is just amazing and something I wish I could replicate because it is just straight up good/optimal play.
I think not tunnel visioning into the game's micro during engagements and always having a high level view on the game is really something that I wish I could learn to do better but seeing someone new to the game like grubby demonstrate such a easy ability to pick up and exercise this with no effort (I think even qojqva is surprised at 18:30 when grubby mentions stacks) really makes me feel like this is some kind of god-given talent that you have to be born with to have your brain so easily track these things almost like a natural rhythm/internal clock, similar to how at 21:00 after the fight grubby says he wasn't looking at the map, while all I kept glancing at it/am always playing the map, so we all have our little 'tricks' I think which we abuse/take advantage of because DotA is such a multidimensional game, so there are a lot of avenues for people to win such as mechanical skill, strategy, game/technical knowledge, and so on.
I really enjoyed watching this game. I can see what grubby really lacks is more based on the information side of the game such as the fact that range creeps are so much more valuable than neutrals, but the mechanical side is on point. He'd be a great P5 IMO for the ability to do quad stacks/manage timings so well for his team to run greedy drafts.

I usually watch Grubby’s wc3 and I’ve never watched his dota playing before. I felt soooo frustrated when watching him lane, I screamed at the screen “come on, hit him, come on move forward”, “come on, deny that creep”. I am writing this not as an attack on grubby. I’m just surprised that I felt emotions like this. I think I’ve never before felt frustrated by someone else doing something worse than I expected, but here somehow it happened.

There was a coach called HuntaLae.. He was pretty good. He used to train and make builds based on the ranksplayer/mmr rather than keeping things and tips same. I remember gaining mmr as jungle luna and clinkz safe from his videos.... Though I am not a regular player.

I think a better way to think of it is that builds are based on maximizing aggression and minimizing risk. Different matchups create different risks, which is why builds change for different matchups. Likewise, different MMR brackets might have different risks and likewise indicate a different build.

@@DanKaschel Yes, the build which I used from that guide was actually well thought of by that I mean the timings fit well even for low mmr players who might miss farm and all. I mean he did provide info on how to farm and lane too and what to do at early and mid game. Game was expected to be over by mid game. The jungle luna was actually good at that time since she did not care what enemies were as long as she got her item timings while pushing safely. Clinkz one was pretty good too(I remember dominating pretty hard for with it) which basically made him pretty strong at all points of the game. I remember the build was not special (old clinkz build) a mix of hero hunting and pushing building type playstyle.

Because when u level it the cooldown resets, so if u are in a fight and the bear is weak u let him die, lvl the skill up and summon it again

@@c4n0no, it’s simpler than that, you fight with level 2 bear, and as soon as you root an enemy you level up the bear to reset the root cd and hope for a second root.
