Great video, thanks for sharing. Highly recommend you swap the TO Bearing to the Tilton. I have heard of this problem from a few different people with that bearing. Tilton uses a post to hold the adjustable base from rotating.
I bought the trans, bellhousing, clutch and to bearing as a kit and it was very reasonably priced. I'm not upset about it but am debating replacing it over the winter
The most reliable thing about a hydraulic throw-out bearing is that they will reliably fail. They are a great idea on paper and a lot of OEM applications, but never heard of a good outcome with a hot rod.
I think your guess is probably more realistic and likely outcome if I were to sell it but it just takes a couple of people who really want it to push the price up. Either way, the appraisal only matters to the insurance company
congratulations Mark. That is a great reflection on your efforts. Thank you for brining us along!
Awesome!

That’s awesome! My guess at 150k is insulting, so did you just lock tight the throw out bearing adjuster ?

what. was your 1/4 mile time?
I did it while the driveshaft was still shaking like crazy so I lifted early, the time was 12.2 seconds @ 119 mph
@@SKIDMARKperformance Thanks for the reply. Was just curious
