Mine's a 20th century limited cause they look so fast and any big locomotive's are difinitely my favorite just imagine a big, strong locomative like the bigboy,WAG - 12,ae 8/14,allegheny,big blow, erie k-5a and more honestly im a really big fan of you cause you make train content btw im im also subscribed
You call it 'Toy Story', however it goes by other names. Jupiter, 119, General, Texas, American, Eureka, and so on. If I may, can I request a train? If so, a USRA heavy Mikado(2-8-2) would be nice IF possible, if not, I'll settle for Black Hills Central Railroad 108 and/or 110. Those engines are the LARGEST operational landlocked steam engines in the world, with runs between Hill City, SD & Keystone, SD(about 40-50 minutes drive from down town Rapid City, SD in optimal conditions). The two Mallets are also supported by an EMD GP9 if you want to try & tackle that first. Edit: missed a word: landlocked
Encase you ain't aware, to get articulated engines, you don't glue the front drivers to the body, you let those pivot, only the rear driving set gets glued to the body.
General & Texas are preserved originals that come to mind, with one or two elsewhere. UP(Union Pacific) 119 & CP(Central Pacific) Jupiter were scrapped. However, replicas if them exist at Promontory Point.
I did indeed :) Knuckle couplers were not invented until 1873, so it's safe to say that this locomotive had something different anyways. I just made it match up to my Sodor stuff, and I liked how the British ones looked on it lol
@bubbycraft66 Ohh you cause pain to American rail fans like me xD My placement is that most stereotypical wild west stuff is in the 1870s, though you're right knuckle couplers didn't come into widespread use until they were required by law in the 1890s. The accurate coupling system would've been the finger-hungry link and pin.
lol well if you want to be technical about it, the locomotive that the movie locomotive is based off of is the General, which was built in 1855 and had janney couplers on it. Those are early knuckles I agree, but for that I defer to my disclaimer in my description: Artistic liberties are taken at times that you do not have to do lol
1:20 At the top in the Jade window, it says the block is from Design and Decor. I am not sure if that is what is making the connected textures or if it is the modpack that I am using (link in the description) but I know there are a couple different industrial iron blocks in the pack 🙂 My advice is just play with them and see which you like better 😁
The cowcatcher in a double layer at the front is GENIUS!!! Wonderful build Bubby
Thanks!! I love how that turned out! Plus it sort of felt minimum effort with just using that cowcatcher XD
NO WAY, I HAD THIS AS A LEGO SET WHEN I WAS A CHILD
DEF GONNA BUILD IT
Nice!! Thank you!!

Great build but you used British couplers on the tender 🙃

are the connected textures on the industrial iron blocks with the copycat panels a base-create feature, or is it another mod?
