Lock System Replacement - SH48, SH49, SH50, SH58 & SH59

This will help you to install the additional lock provided with SH36, so that you can use one single key for all your cases set.

Is the lock assembly of the SH48 with the red key different from the whole lock assembly with the new kind of key. I have a damaged lock assembly (not just the lock system barrel) that I need to replace and I was told that the lock assembly of the current cases will not fit if my case uses the red key.

Just an FYI. My SHAD 59x has a Philips head screw and washer to holds the lock barrel in. No 10mm needed.

I have an SH50 box; I bought a new tumbler/key set for it and it finally showed up. part number 201722R. I've removed the mechanism from the case as you instructed, but cannot find a socket that works for the nut! 10mm is too small, 11mm is too big. Any clues how to get that one out? I don't think the one you're showing is an SH50 mechanism...
