Did... did this just mash up traditional Irish dancing, with paso doble, to Roundtable??? What even.... LOVE IT! Also, the blonde soloist changed her shoes??? I had to rewatch to figure out where. The choreo was really well done.

Haha Roundtable Rival... have to admit their taste for this fine piece was an exquisite choice... didn’t exactly have Lindsey Stirling’s flair and finesse, but it was done well enough. Lindsey’s video clip shows an amazing story that is easily caught onto with no intro... here I kinda got lost a bit where the story was going.The dancing was amazing don’t get me wrong, but I got lost on the story till the end. Huge proud Stirlingite here lol. Probably should have asked Lindsey how she would have done it. Costumes and dance were great though!🌹👍🏻
Ehm. Have you noticed, that there is no live music playing during this performance? And that the guy "playing" the violin at the begging was actually one of the dancers, in fact the "Romeo" character guy, just miming the playing? They used the song´s recording for this performace, which mean it actually WAS LINDSEY STERLING PLAYING THE VIOLIN HERSELF. Because, she might grant the rights to perform or interpret this song, but I very much doubt, that she would sell the recording rights for this song. So you are atually critisizing Lindsey herself for playing poorly on the recording. Watch the clip again and pay attention, you will see I am right.
Omg it’s LINDSEY STIRLING! and she isn’t there to do her thing! This is a first for me. I’m sheltered on TH-cam so not to sure how common this is. I thought so amazing and to have this done by such a famous dance group (been a few years in the us but I remember when they were huge here) and such a wide audience. This just gave me so many happy feels! Watching first time oct2019
Holy hell this was amazing I’ve seen river dance live I spent the money to get up close I was enthralled I’ve did synchronized skating, precision I’ve loved them since I was very little have had there cd for decades ❤

Wauw!!! I used to tapdance at a danceschool here in Belgium. Over the years Irish tapdancing became more popular so it was included in the lesson. Clapaja never got to this level! So jealous of the people who can dance like this.

This was awesome to watch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love this song in particular from Lindsey because the original video for this song, even though it is set up as a "western Theme", still gives that major Irish Dance feel to it!!!!!!Way too cool.
Fabulous, as usual. I don't think their skirts need to be any shorter. I don't need to see their arse! The move at cue 213 is very striking. If you could have a section were that is done about a half a dozen times, I think would go over real well. Good job!
group dances the bane of ballroom dancers hahahh they were trained with the mindset that they have to stand out among their competitors in order to win/be noticed that's why they always don't look uniform during group dances.
@@WizardShinobi but all irish dancers are soloists in past, they were competitive solo dancers) all these shows like riverdance and LOtD are just next step in their career, so they had to learn how to group dance good
The first time I ever heard this song, which was one of the first I heard of Lindsey's, I immediately thought how perfect it was for Irish Dance. It would appear I wasn't the only one who thought so.
Loved it you know a dance is good when you can see the story in the dance. I love Celt music and dance and wish we had more opportunities in the us to see them.
The concept is good, the music choice is A-MAZ-ING and the idea of mixing a bit of a story is cool, but I reckon if it was a paso-riverdance fusion without the compilation of a story, it'd be awesome. But that's just my personal opinion... 🙂

Jacqueline Griffin Riverdance dancers are pro at sync dancing. Just watch one of Michael Flatley's performances...
Considering that the pros never trained in Step Dancing, they did damn well.

It really is glaringly obvious who's a stepdancer and who's ballroom... Shame they didn't have time to practice actually moving as a group more.

WOW its so rare these days to see a woman preform a complete dance in soft shoes i LOVE they have brought them back.
Melania they didn’t bring soft shoes back! They never went in the first place. I and my sisters wore them when we were learning Irish dancing as kids.

Agreed, the DWTS dancers can only do 'set pieces' which involve a pose and a lift. The Irish dancers on the other hand showed how to dance.
I was wondering why some of it looked... wooden. Now it makes sense. Irish dancers were great though.
